Virgil has a nightmare in the middle of the night, all the sides rooms are really far down the long hallway from where Virgil is, well not all the sides rooms, Roman's room is right next to Virgil's room, Roman hears something on the other side of the wall-

Virgil: Roman! watch out!

*Explosions*

Virgil: No, the- their all *Sobs*

Virgil: No don't leave me alone pls! *Crying, on his knees*

Virgil: Why! Deceit you bastard!

Janus: oh Virgil how lovely to see you again~(Lie)

Virgil: I hate you!

Janus: This wouldn't have happened if you came back as we said

Virgil: After what you just did I'll never come back you jerk! ( I ain't putting swears )

Janus: So be it 

Janus: Your biggest fear has come true

Virgil: *sobbing* I hate you! I hate you! I hate!-

Janus: Hate is such a strong word Virgil, I prefer dislike

Virgil: Like I give a flip on what you want!

~Romans pov~

I was in my room watching tik tok videos for hours cause I couldn't sleep, then I heard a little sob coming from the room next to mine, I got up and walked towards my roommate Virgil's room, When I got in front of his room door I knocked softly on the door, I said " Hey Virgil are you okay in there", I got no response, I tried again I got no response, I was getting worried, so I put my hand on the doorknob and slightly opened the door to check if Virgil, was okay, I see Virgil with his eyes closed in tears and he was breathing heavily, I ran over as fast as I could and started shaking him gently and telling him to wake up then-

~No ones pov~

roman: wake up! wake up! Virgil!

Virgil: *Jumps up with tears falling from his eyes and starts sobbing* 

Roman: Virgil! are you okay?!

Virgil: No! * sobs * 

Roman: What happened?

Virgil: You, them, everyone, Janus, so much blood and fire * starts mumbling *

Roman: Hey hey it's okay everything is gonna be okay I promise 

Virgil: bu- but- he-

Roman: It was just nightmare emo it'll be okay

Virgil: * Tear falls down from his face *

Roman: *Wipes away Virgil's tears*

Roman: * Cups Virgil's cheeks in his hand* Virgil pls try and calm down

Roman: Just follow my breathing okay, take a deep breath and hold it for 8 seconds

Virgil: O-okay * Takes a deep breath and holds it * 

Virgil: * breaths out for 5 seconds after he held his breath for 8 seconds, then repeats it a few more times *

Roman: Better?

Virgil: A lil

Roman: Okay it's gonna be okay * rubs circles into Virgils back *

~A few minutes later~

Virgil fell asleep, Roman was in the middle of the bed and Virgil was asleep on Roman's lap.

Roman's mind: I don't wanna wake him up, he looks too peaceful, but he'll kill me in the morning if he wakes up with his head in my lap T-T

~In the morning~

Virgil: Roman!
