Virgil has sleep paralysis he suffers from nightmares and he gets super scared when he wakes up and can't move especially when there is a dark shadowy figure In front of him at the end of his bed, Roman knows this so he will check up on Virgil every now and then in the middle of the night just in case, it hasn't happened recently this month, so Roman didn't check as much but it was a good thing he did tonight.

Roman: goodnight Virgil

Virgil: Night rowy * yawns *

Roman: * walks out of his room and goes to his down the hall*

Virgil's mind: I don't feel safe right now * curls up in his blanket *

Virgil: * Falls asleep a few hours later*

~ At 1 am ~

Virgil: *wakes up*

Virgil's mind: why can't I move! , no not again

Virgil: * sees a shadowy figure In his doorway *

Virgil's mind: No stay away! * panicking *

~ Roman's pov~

I didn't go to sleep tonight, I felt off about something but I didn't know what it was, I laid awake in bed, thinking about why everything felt off but then, I decided to check on Virgil, I just-, I just didn't think he felt safe, I didn't know why I felt he wasn't, I got up from my bed and walked to Virgil's room down the narrow hall, I saw Virgil's door open cause Virgil prefers that it stays open during the night, I walk over and I stand in front of his door in the frame, I see him crying and I didn't think I just ran towards him and grabbed him then pulled him into a tight embracing hug, I heard him try to mumble something, all I could make out was "Ro"

~ Virgil's pov~

I saw the figure get closer and closer to me, I tried to scream but I couldn't, I tried to get up but of course, I couldn't, I started feeling tears form in my eyes as it got closer to me, it took about 5-6 mins for it to be right on the side of me and my bed, it was about to grab me but then I heard a floor bored creek, then I saw Roman, when he saw me he quickly ran over to me, pulled me up in his arms in a tight embrace, and just like that I saw the shadow figure disappear and I was able to move slightly then I started to feel my body again, I tried to say "Thank you Ro" but it was muffled because I was snuggled into Roman's chest, and I could only mumble because I was still in shock and I'm still scared

~ No ones pov ~

Roman: are you okay?

Virgil: Now... I am.. but...

Roman: but what?

Virgil: I'm scared still

Roman: you want me to stay

Virgil: mhm

~ 3rd pov ~

After that Virgil was on top of Roman's chest, Roman had his arms wrapped around Virgil while he rubbed circles into his back, Virgil had his arms around Roman's neck and his head snuggled into Roman's neck, which was slightly choking Roman but he didn't mind, Roman kissed Virgil's head and said "Night baby", and Virgil said "Night Rowy"
