Chapter 1

I woke up with a cool breeze hitting my face as I start getting up. "Kens get up" I heard my mom say as I was already climbing out of bed.
I walk out to see breakfast already done and the rest of my family sitting down to eat.
Can one of you guys go get the mail after breakfast? Mom says while eating, " yeah we can do it together" Miguel carefully adds.

We walk outside and get the mail while Miguel has trouble with the water pressure we both spot a man coming out of his apartment. I'm not much of a social butterfly but Miguel sure is so he want up to him "hey I'm Miguel my family just moved into 109" he says smiling brightly. Great more immigrants the older guys says back causing me to roll my eyes, " actually we're from riverside, anyways I was just wondering if you were having trouble with your  water pressure cause I know ours seems to be a little weird right now" he says as the guy dumps the bottle in the wrong bin " oh bottles go in the blue bin". Listen menduo I've lived in this shithole for over 10 years pipes don't work,fountain's full of piss the only good thing about being here is I don't have to talk to anybody, no nice knowing you"

" okay.. well.. have a nice day?" Miguel says almost like it's a question. God that guy seems like such a dick I say as I roll my eyes.
Miguel looks at me with a disappointed face and replies a soft " Yeah"

After dinner that night mom wanted us to go get pepto for our grandma we obviously agreed and headed off. Miguel and I walked in the store I ask the man where the pepto is in Spanish, as the man answers back we find the pepto and head to the counter beside the man we saw earlier.
" my grandma's not feeling well" Miguel says in a awkward smile " didn't ask" he replies back making Miguel's smile drop. Oh come on what's Spanish for give me my damn slice, the man says something in Spanish but I didn't hear because I was to busy looking at my feet I'm nervousness, like I said I'm not much of a social butterfly. " what did you just say" Johnny says causing me to look up. He looks over to me and Miguel " what did he say" Miguel shoots back with " you don't wanna know ". No I know it's something bad just tell me Johnny says, he said you have a uh- tiny and points downwards. Johnny looks at the cashier " you said I have a tiny wang?" Tell him he has a tiny wang Johnny says staring at the cashier. I speak English asshole the cashier says which makes me crack a giggle. As Miguel pays for the pepto bismaul a group of boys comes in and gets beer, " are you guys from west valley high me and my sister are starting there this year" Miguel says grabbing the money from the cashier. Wait you guys are Highschoolers the cashier says " okay out all of you " he says throwing them out.

A boy gets ahold of my brother and pushes him out the door " what the hell are you doing, why your tryna blow up my spot man he thought we were college students dumbass" I immediately tried running after him but froze " i didn't know you guys were tryna buy beer I'm sorry" Miguel says as the boy pushes him to the ground. I scream " Miguel" as I try running after me but I feel a pair of arms around me holding me back. What do we got here? The boy says looking at the store bag and opens it pepto the boy says " aw man someone has frickin diarrhea the boy holding me back says hey we should call him rhea one says. " come on give it back dude it's for my grandma"
Oh it's for your grandma oh I'm sorry he  says opening it " hey you want it take all the shit" he says pouring the pepto on his head down his clothes and back. The boy throws it back at Miguel and says " bitch" Miguel says back in a low voice but loud enough for him to hear " asshole"

What'd you say rhea? The boy walking up to Miguel closer " I didn't say anything" Miguel says right before the boy punches his stomach. I try and wiggle out of the chubby guys arms " miggy" I scream as Miguel try's to run the boy pushes him into a mans car " where you going rhea?" The man from earlier stands up " HEY watch the car man" the bigger boy let's me go and walks over " just leave the dork and his sister alone" another one of the boys steps closer " you see this guy eating his dinner at the mini mart like a bum" he said causing the other boys to laugh. Wait I think I know this guy the boy says " he's the jerk off that cleaned my dad's septic tank"

All the other boys laugh and the big dumb one adds " that explains why he smells like shit ".
Nah trust me you guys are pissing off the wrong guy on the wrong day Johnny says stepping closer. Oh really? The boy says he pushes Johnny " get the hell out of here loser".
Johnny regained his balance and looked at the boy  before kicking up hitting him straight in the face, I look at my brother to see his shocked face as well as mine, as we watch them fight I let out a " Jesus Christ" as he knocks all of them down me and Miguel both say at the same time " holy shit how did you- we were cut off by the boy attacking Johnny from behind Johnny gets up and flips him over " come on is that all you got ladies?"

The one that was holding me before gets the boy up and say's " come on ky let's go" he says, but kyler pushes him and goes for Johnny again, Johnny grabs him by the neck and states " what's a matter having trouble breathing?" Just as it unfolded the cops arrived pepper spraying Johnny before Miguel try's running over " wait it wasn't his fault" I grab his arm " miggy let's just go "

Miguel shook his head and we headed back home.

A/n- as you can tell I can't really write fight scenes at all but I'm trying:), anyways have a good day loves<3
