I was sitting in the living room watching AOT when my phone went off.

Hawk<3: is Miguel still on that date?

Kenzie: LMFAO you asked that 20 min ago when he left doofus ofc he is.

Hawk<3: I'm coming over then. Wait is your mom home?

Kenzie: no she's still at work and yaya isn't here tbh I have no idea where she is but no one's here but me:)

Hawk<3: good;)

Kenzie: I- okay you dork get here already

Hawk<3: I'm already at your door.

Just then I head a knock on the door and silently chuckled. I walked over and unlocked it letting him in.

" how long have you been standing out there?" I asked him going to the kitchen.

" oh I was already there 3 mins before I texted you" he said sitting down on the couch.

I chuckled " that's a little creepy you know" I said grabbing a pan out from the bottom of the stove. He sat up from the couch and made his way towards me.

" are you cooking cause I'm starving"

" I'm gonna make some nuggets and curly fries that okay with you?"

He nodded his head yes and kissed me on the forehead " you're so good to me"

I chuckled as my phone went off yet again seeing that it was from Miguel.

Miggy😡: I already know hawk's there so when I get home the house better not be smelling like sex.

Kenzie: Miggy, you don't have to worry about us have fun on your date and plus I'm making us some food and then we're probably going to watch a movie or something you know I'm not like that.

Miggy😡: good I don't want you getting pregnant.

Kenzie: Miguel mf diaz stop worrying about me and Hawk having unprotected sex have fun on your date loser.

I preheated the oven and put the food on the pan while I connected my phone to my speaker. I shuffled play and the first song to play was " take it on the run" by reo speed wagon. My face immediately lit up.

" I LOVE THIS SONG" I said while turning it up louder.

" HEARD IT FROM A FRIEND WHO HEARD IT FROM A FRIEND WHO HEARD IT FROM ANOTHER YOU BEEN MESSING AROUND, THEY SAY YOU GOT A BOYFRIEND YOURE OUT LATE EVERY WEEKEND THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT YOU AND IT'S BRINGING ME DOWN"

I looked over to see hawk not singing

" Awh come on don't leave me hanging and I know damn well you know this song I saw it on the playlist you sent me " when I said that his face immediately turned red.

" you don't have to be embarrassed. Don't worry your secrets safe with me now SING"

He chuckled a little bit and started singing with me.
