Chapter nine

I awoke in my bed at 3am and couldn't go back to sleep so I just decided to stay up.
I went to the kitchen and got a glass of water, then my phone went off.

Eli👺: hey kens, I know you're probably not up right now but I wanted to make sure you're okay?

Kenzie: yes I'm fine thank you for asking<3 and sadly I can't go back to sleep:/

Eli👺: this is probably weird but would you maybe wanna hangout  seeming as if we don't have school tomorrow and we both can't sleep? I mean you don't have to if you don't want to of course.

Kenzie: of course I'd want too! I'll pick you up? Maybe we can go to the beach or something

Eli👺: yeah that's fine, I'll see you then.

I smiled at the text and went back to my room.
I grabbed a backpack and put an extra pair of clothes Just in case I get mine wet. I finished getting ready putting on a oversized black t-shirt and a pair of light ripped jeans and headed off to my car.

I arrived at Eli's house and texted him to let him know I was here.
He came out of his house with his head up, which is new considering everytime I pick him and Demetri up he always has his head down walking towards us.
He got in the car and smiled at me
" hey eli" I said smiling at the seemingly happy boy. He smiled back " how about some Music" I said while starting my car, he Swiftly shook his head and I put the aux cord in my phone.

The song " look after you" by the fray came on
" I love this song" eli said smiling turning up the radio a bit.
I looked over at him and smiled " this is my favorite song" I said blushing, yes I'll admit it I like eli moskowitz, I mean who couldn't he's sweet, nice, precious and I don't even know why he's insecure about his lip I didn't even notice is untill he pointed it out, there's no doubt that he's attractive but he's more than that he helped me at my worst.

We sang the lyrics together terribly, but I didn't care I was with him, and that's all that matters.

" WHAT'S MINE IS YOURS TO LEAVE OR TAKE, WHAT'S MINE IS YOURS TO MAKE YOUR OWN"

We finally arrived at the beach about 15 minutes till sunrise.
We sat down and watched the sun come up, I looked over at eli examining his features, he looks really beautiful right now the way the sun is coming up infront of him allowing it to softly hit is face in all the right ways. He must of felt me starring cause he put his hand over his lip once again.
I took my hands and pulled his away from his lips, I cupped his face in between my hands and kissed his scar, " listen to me eli, don't let it define you yes it's a scar but it's not who you are" ( not me rhyming😐☝🏻). I said before kissing his scar once again causing my cheeks to go red oh how I wanted to actually kiss him but I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable.

Holy shit, i love Eli Moskowitz

A/n- this is short but I wanted to write a filler chapter considering all the sadness I've had to write for the last few days:) but ah Kenzie's in love with Eli😫🖐🏼
