Maybe a mask would be a good idea

Shit

If I was ever going to do something like this again, I would need a disguise or something, and I definitely planned on doing this again, not only because I had things I needed to work out, but Chicago needed someone to clean up its streets, the boys in blue couldn't do it alone, clearly. The police apparently now included the love of my life and my brother. That was an interesting development, last I knew Jackson was in college studying to be a doctor or something, and Lukas was a bartender.

The look on their faces though, like they had seen a ghost, it occurred to me then that to them I was a ghost, so maybe that's what I needed to be. I couldn't face Lukas, he seemed to be doing fine without me, but Jackson, I wasn't so sure about him, there was something in his eyes, something I had never seen before and I had a feeling that I put it there, but I couldn't come back. I had to be a ghost, I was already dead, and the government would track me down eventually. I couldn't put them in the middle of that, and I wouldn't put it past them to use my family and friends against me. That being said though I needed help, and cash, so there was someone I needed to pay a visit to.

I knocked on his door, it was late, but I doubted he was asleep, he never slept, hazards of being a genius I guessed. He was always working on some project, so sure enough the door opened and I was face to face with my best friend.

"Evan I need your help."
