 Author's note:

Sorry it's been so long since i've updated, i've been swanped latley, so here's a baby update, this is kind of a filler chapter, but it needs to exsist in order for the story to go on how I plan for it to, I know there aren't a lot of you guys, but I apraciate the reads anyhow.

"Mysterious masked woman takes out notorious drug dealer. "

They were calling me "little red" how very original.

Because I was all over the news and somewhat "famous" people may have judged my somewhat questionable methods' but not the results I got. Now that I was "famous" people felt they had a right to weigh in on how I conduct myself, but no one  could deny the truth. Some people called me a hero, others a menace. One way or the other it didn't actually matter much to me. The CPD was of the persuasion that I was the latter, hence the reason they felt the need to assemble a task force to "take me down". In a cruel twist of fate, or perhaps just plain irony, the officers in charge of running his task force, we're my brother and Lukas. That bothered me.

"How did this even happen?" I asked Evan.

"Apparently some teenager with a smartphone caught one of your 'interrogations' on video." He explained .

"Crap!" I exclaimed, "how could I be so careless?"

"You weren't careless Alex, you were distracted, understandably so, and uh there's something here you may want to see..." He nervously showed me the screen of his computer which was now broadcasting a live interview with the love of my life.

"As I said before we are dealing with this vigilante problem, this woman will be brought to justice."

"How do you respond to the claims that this vigilante may be more than human?" A pretty female reporter shoved her mike in his face as she said this.

Lukas laughed, "There is no such thing as superhumans, our purp is not Wonder Woman, she is just a disillusioned citizen who is trying to take the law into her own hands."

"But you've seen the video, that woman beat the crap out of at least six guys who were all twice her size, and she didn't even break a sweat, how do you explain that officer?" The woman fired back.

"Adrenaline. steroids, extensive martial arts training." He replied.

"Why does the CPD have such a huge problem with this woman? It seems to me like she's doing you guys a favor, maybe you should thank her instead of trying to arrest her." Came from another reporter, a guy that time.

"The CPD does not need help from some wannabe superhero in a red cape, It’s a problem, you may not see it, but this girl, she’s the beginning of something, if she goes around taking down Chicago’s worst, other people are going to think they can too, and what do you think will happen then? And she’s only going after a certain kind of criminal, it screams personal vendetta.”

I turned the TV off.

"He's right you know," Evan tentativly stated.

"I know."
