Moe led you up the winding stairway passed the roosting place where you noticed the giant bird nestled comfortably. He eyed you with keen flashing yellow eyes as you and Moe ascended higher into this strange fortress. "Helmaroc King brought you here to Forsaken Fortress," Moe said. A few minutes later Moe halted before two large wooden doors with a great light burning on the other side. "Master waits for you. Show him respect and you'll be fine," Moe stated opening the door for you. Taking a deep breath you stepped inside. The door slammed shut behind you barring any way of escape.
Turning your e/c forward you began to survey the chamber you had entered. Fire danced brightly in the mouths of decorative skulls. A large crimson and gold rug was situated on the floor to give a more homely feel to the dreary surroundings. "Welcome my dear," came a deep baritone voice from somewhere within the shadows. Your vulpine ears perked up almost as if you had heard that voice before from deep within your memories. As you focused your e/c gaze in the direction from which the voice spoke, you saw a tall handsome man smiling. He was seated in a high-backed chair adorned with pillows satin cushions. A blush softly crept to your cheeks as his golden eyes stared intently into your own e/c orbs. Recalling Moe's words you offered this man a sweeping curtsy your tails flowing behind. The man chuckled endearingly rising from his seat. He came to stand before you cupping your face in one of his large hands. "After all these centuries my beloved wife I have found you."
Your eyes widened at these words as you took a quick step back. "Forgive me Sir but I am afraid I do not know who you are. " The man's golden eyes seemed to reflect a hint of sorrow and sighed heavily. "No, I suppose you do not have any recollection of your previous memories," he whispered clenching his fist. You stepped forward holding out a hand to him. "May I know your name?" He turned to face you smiling sadly. "My name is Ganondorf Dragmire." That name seemed to awaken hidden feelings deep within your soul as you felt a strong urge to embrace this man and kiss him. "Strange that name seems so familiar to me ... and I have often dreamt of a man with your exact features." Ganondorf's eyes burned brightly in the firelight with hope. "Some part of you recalls the connection we shared but your memories seem to be scattered Y/N," Ganondorf added. The way he said your name seemed so right however the image of Aryll and the other girls snapped you back to reality. "What do you intend to do with me and these girls you hold captive."
Ganondorf sighed softly. "I am afraid my beloved I cannot tell you, however, rest assured no harm will come to you or them." You raised your eyebrows and folded your arms over your chest. "Tell your pet bird to be more gentle then when handling children," you demanded. Ganondorf smirked as he admired your bold attitude that won his heart centuries ago. "I shall remind the Hemlock King of such. In the meantime, I will have a servant of mine provide you decent accommodations. I won't have my wife spending her days behind bars while in my care." Ganondorf snapped his fingers sharply and a golden triangular symbol flashed brightly. This caused a fragment of gold to appear on the back of yours causing curiosity to rise within you.
Once the light vanished a tall lanky figure stood before you clad in a most flamboyant outfit. His short silvery hair was parted to the right and covered part of his handsome traits. "You called my King?" he asked sinking to one knee and placing a gloved hand over his chest. Ganondorf faced him calmly. "Indeed I did Lord Ghiriham, please escort Y/N, my wife, to the tower below the sea. See to it she is well cared for and guard her well. I will join you later." Lord Ghiriham rose to his feet his dark gaze meeting your own. "Ahh the legendary Guardian of Hylia it is an honor to make your acquaintance," he said giving you a charming bow and extending a gloved hand to you. Ghiriham also seemed familiar but you could not quite make a connection.
Ghiriham cleared his throat. "Well my Lady Y/N Dragmire, shall we go. I am sure these drab conditions are a bore to you. I know they are for me," Lord Ghiriham said gesturing with his hand once more. Ganondorf gave an encouraging nod. "Worry not my dear I shall be along soon." You blinked seeing no choice but to accompany Ganondorf's servant. Placing your hand into his Ghiriham's slender fingers enclosed it rather gently. Without warning, Lord Ghiriham pulled you close with one arm wrapped protectively around you. Using his free hand he dramatically snapped his fingers and you were swallowed into a sphere of light.
A/N: Hello everyone it's been a while. Thought I would bring Lord Ghirahim to the mix as I think he's an interesting character and rarely see him in fanfiction. Enjoy.
