"Yah, just admit that you like me."
"OMG! PENGUINS!!!!"
"You really love Penguins, don't you?"
"Hell yeah!"
"I'll get you one, I'm good at this."
"I think I'd eat later when there are no other people left."
"Let's go."
"Let's eat where there's no other people. Let's go?"
Ah, seriously. Why do I keep on reminiscing our past? Just... WHY???!!!
"You're not with Seokmin today. What's up?" Nayeon sat in front of me.
"The ceiling." I chuckled and drank my Americano.
"Ooohhh. The one and only Myoui Mina is initiating a joke." We both laughed.
"By the way, why'd you call me?"
"About that," I placed my drink, "I need to ask about something."
"About what?"
"Well, my friend said she's confused with her ex and her uhm..."
How should I say this? If I say suitor, she'll know it's me.
"New boyfriend?"
"Yes! That."
God.
"So, what is she confused about?"
"Well, she thought she was actually falling for her boyfriend, but then, she kept on remembering her past with her ex. And she just can't stop thinking about it."
"Oh, so she was confused if who's she's actually falling in love with?"
"Yeah." I nodded.
Nayeon hummed, "how long has she been single before her new boyfriend?"
"Uh, five? Six years?"
"Oh, so you're confused if you're actually falling with Seokmin, but you kept thinking about your times with Chaeyoung?"
"Yeah."
WAIT--
"I mean-- No! Not me. My friend!"
Nayeon laughed, "hey, no need to hide it. It's fine."
It's really hard hiding things from her.
"It's just..." I can't help, but sigh. "I don't know my feelings anymore. I don't want to hurt Seokmin."
"Well, I have two hypotheses."
I leaned on the table, "what is it?"
"One, maybe you just liked the thought of Chaeyoung, but not her."
That can be it.
"Or, maybe you never really moved on from Chaeyoung. You were just distracted."
That can also be it.
"Ah, I don't know anymore." I groaned in frustration.
"No rush, bud. Don't stress yourself."
"What if I actually don't like Seokmin, but he kept on waiting on me? I don't wanna hurt him any longer."
Why am I even thinking this way?
"But you can't also rush things. Just... take it in your own pace." She sighed.
