Mina's POV

I stretched as my body felt stiff for sitting in front of the laptop for so long. Making blueprints is such a hardwork. Maybe going out for a snack first won't hurt?

I saved the file and stood up from my seat, but then, my phone suddenly rang.

From: seokmin :P

hey minguin!!!!! u free rn? let's have some snacks~

Ah, there he go again with that nickname.

To: seokmin :P

i was about to have some snack so... fine. and please, stop calling me that.

From: seokmin :P

psh. arasseo. let's meet at the usual place. :)))))

I changed my outfit into a more decent one and started to walk to our usual place.

Seokmin (A/N: Seventeen DK) and me have been friends since college's freshmen days. He studied Engineering while I studied Architecture. We easily became friends since the Engineering and Architecture class have some activities before in which the courses teams up. And now, we're on the same project. He's the Engineer, while I'm the Architect. This is our 2nd project together, I guess.

"Minariiii~" Nayeon sat down on the seat in front of me as I sat down on a table-for-two seat.

"Hi, Nabongs."

"Waiting for Seokmin?" She leaned on the table.

"Yeah. I was about to have some snacks, but he suddenly texted so..."

"Why don't you just date each other?" Nayeon playfully slapped my arm.

"For the nth time, WE'RE JUST FRIENDS." I rolled my eyes.

"What? Everything started as friends!"

"Well, not in our case." I laughed.

"Then when are you going to find yourself a boyfriend?"

"What?"

"Fine. Girlfriend."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I scoffed.

"Come on. It's been almost a decade and you never had another boyfriend after your break-up with--"

"I did! When we were in college." I rolled my eyes.

"What? You called it dating? You two only lasted for a month." Nayeon laughed.

"I just don't feel like he's the one."

"Then you should try to open up your heart. I know someone's out there who loves you wholeheartedly."

"There you go with your cringe lines... again." I laughed.

"Whatever. There he is." Nayeon stood up as she saw Seokmin enter the Café.

"Hi, Seokmin." Nayeon greeted.

"Hello, Nayeon." Seokmin sat down.

"Hi, Minari!" I smiled at him.

"Ooohhh, lovers." Nayeon teased.

"Nope." I shook my head.

"Psh." Seokmin scoffed.

"Usual order?" Nayeon asked.

"Yes, please." Seokmin answered then Nayeon left.

Nayeon is owning this Café. It also have other branches here in Korea. Nayeon is the owner, but she sometimes stay here to kill her time by serving some costumers. Well, perfect timing since she's here now.
