Tanjiro's POV:

I got a mission go to kill a upper moon. It shouldn't be that hard since I've went on missions with upper moons before. The only sad thing is, Zenitsu went missing on one of his. I will find him, no matter the cause. I went into the forest and started to pick up a scent of a demon but it was also mixed with a scent with someone I know. I brush it off and kept making my way there with my sword in my hands ready to attack. The closer I got the more I got to see the demon. I stopped my movements and looked in shock.

Tanjiro : "Z-Zenitsu...?"

He looked back at me a growl. I remembered whenever humans get turned into demons they forget everything of their human lives. He came at me and I tried my best to dodge his attacks. I didn't wanted to kill him, it would hurt so much. He's a bestfriend to me, I've had a crush on him as well ever since we first met and killing him with break my heart. He was growling, clearly a sign of aggression. I took a breath in and finally decided to go and attack him. He is a upper moon so it will be a bit hard. As I went in for an attack, he used his blood demon arts on me. I flew back and hit my back onto a tree. I tried my best to get up as fast as I could but it was painful. Before I got up and I was tackled onto the floor by Zenitsu.

Tanjiro : "Zenitsu-!"

He went for my neck and bit down onto it and started to suck my blood out. I yelped in pain and tried to push him off until he grew way bigger than his normal size. His fangs also grew bigger and it didn't made it better. My neck was bleeding so much and I was screaming in pain.

Tanjiro : "Onegai Yamete!!"  ( Translation : "Please stop it.")

I cried out but he didn't stop, I felt my head go dizzy. '𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦?!' I thought. He doesn't wanna kill me, but only wanted my blood. I tried pushing him off and tried to grab my sword but it was a bit far from me so I couldn't grab it. He sunk his fangs deeper and it was too painful I felt like I was gonna faint. He pulled away and licked his lips while I was panting. He just looked at me, why didn't he wanted to kill me but suck my blood instead?

I could see him starting to cry.

Zenitsu : "I-I'm sorry.."

Zenitsu's POV:

'I-I'm sorry..'

I said, I stuttered as Tanjiro looked at me with  a mix of pain and sadness. I looked at his neck and it was bleeding. '𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴..' He pushed me off and I fell back. He backed up with his back facing the tree and one of his hands on his neck rubbing it and his eyes tightly closed in pain. I can't do anything now, I could try to find a blue lily and break Muzan's curse but those are rare to find so it mostly won't happen. I saw him got up and picked up his sword and went into a position getting ready to attack me but his hands were shaking, tears coming out of his eyes and sniffles then and there. I didn't wanted to kill him, But I will have to and if I don't I will for sure die of Muzan's Curse. I got up and slowly walked to him not trying to get him too attack me as a idea slowly came to my mind.

Tanjiro : "S-Stay there..!"

Tanjiro : "D-Don't come any c-closer!"

He threaten and his voice shaking. He is still in pain and still was dizzy from the amount of blood I took from him. I used my blood demon arts on him and tied him down secure. He couldn't do much, he was too weak.  I bent down and leaned closer to him. Before I could do anything he fainted. I assumed it was because of blood lost. I didn't wanted him to be killed. There was only one choice I had left.

Zenitsu : "Wait, really?"

Muzan : "Yes, why kill him if we could have more demons."

Zenitsu :"Arigatou Gozaimasu!"

I said in a happy tone. Muzan has  a great relationship with his upper moons and since I'm a upper moon he agreed. I give him Tanjiro and let him do his work.
