Izuku curled up into the plush of his dark green comforter, his head tucked into the softness of his pillow. He laid there, the sun slowly beginning to creep into his window as the curtains were drawn back. Izuku was dreading the day as he now worked for the kingdom, he worked under Bakugo and he feared what would happen if the two were left alone.

"Izuku?" a soft voice echoed into his quiet room, Izuku perked up at the sudden appearance of one of his best friends. Ukaraka patiently stood outside his door, rolling back and forth of the balls of her feet with a smile on her face. Izuku crawled out from against the wall, under his comforter, and dragged his body onto the floor. He sat on all fours, contemplating whether to let her in or not. He moved onto his feet and trudged towards the door, slowly opening it to let Uraraka step inside.

"Wow, your room is so much nicer than most of the servants! You don't even have to share with someone," she muttered as she walked around in amazement, picking up a few objects. Izuku gave her a shy grin as he scratched the back of his neck, his face burning in embarrassment as his eyes followed the brunette.

"My mom and I used to share a room until last night, though our room was the same as this one, it still felt cramped. Now I have too much space," Izuku admitted as he looked down at the floor. Uraraka turned to look over at him, a soft expression on her face as she felt pity for him.

"Don't feel bad about getting special treatment, your family has always been incredibly special to the Bakugo's and everyone understands that. Nobody holds it against you guys, especially since we all know you guys complain to them about it and try to get treated like every other servant. You deserve this room. Everyone loves you and mom anyway," Uraraka stated, not realizing what she just said as Izuku whipped his head up.

"You just called my mom mom!" Izuku stated as he was still stunned, Uraraka looked stunned as well.

"Well, I mean, she's always there. She's been far more supportive of me and everyone else than our own parents. We can scream and cry and act obnoxious to her and she never yells or gets upset. She means everything to me, I guess I just see her as more of a mom than mine since I barely ever see my parents since they are always working outside of the palace now," Uraraka confessed, her face bright red as her gaze was zeroed in on the wooden floors. Izuku smiled, pulling her into a hug, Uraraka stuffed her face into his shoulder, her tears being whipped away by the cloth of his nightshirt. Izuku slowly stroked her hair as her quiet sobs continued, her hands clutching onto the back of his shirt as she tried pushing her face into his shoulder even further.

"Ura, my mom will always be there for you, no matter what. We both see you as family, so if you ever need to talk about anything, you know where to find us," Izuku cooed as he rested his chin on her head. Uraraka shifted, moving out from underneath Izuku to stare up at him, her tear streaked face worried Izuku until she put on a smile. She nodded her head, quickly wiping away any stray tears.

"Thank you, Izu," she whispered out. They stared at each other until a cough was heard from the doorway, both quickly spun on their heels to find Iida leaning in the door framing. Iida had his arms crossed as he raised an eyebrow, both blushed wildly out of embarrassment.

"Did I interrupt something?" he questioned as he just watched his friend's actions. Both waved their hands in front of themselves, violently shaking their heads as they both repeatedly said no. "Alright then, but did you have the chance to talk to him, Uraraka?" Iida asked her once they all calmed down. The brunette's loud gasp and nervous expression gave Iida his answer as he turned his attention to Izuku, the green-haired boy's eyebrow quirked as he just looked at Iida waiting. "Well, you've been spared working under Prince Bakugo after what happened last night, you've been reassigned to being a butler. Your main task will be to clean all the royal chambers and with a small crew, the most used rooms. After that you can order around the others in your group to go clean your section of the palace how you want," Iida stated as both ignored Uraraka.
