Carly didn't know what she could say as she sat in the passenger seat of the car. Her eyes watching the scenery change on the route home while the radio played softly in the background. She was only thankful that her mother was the one who found her rather than having her father's fiery temper. How could she explain to her parents about her newfound Serpent friend, whose name she herself didn't know?

She couldn't help but wonder how drastically her life has changed since knowing their family secret. She often found herself thinking about how her life could've been if they had chosen to leave Riverdale like her mother once wanted. Or if the Serpents had accepted her mother for who she was. Or worse, if her parents had went their separate ways. Now she was sitting here in the middle of her predicament.

Amelia glanced over to her youngest daughter and wondered how she had gotten involved with a Serpent. She knew about the hardships of this relationship if Carly were going to continue with it. Her only concern was how this might affect the young girl beside her. Her daughter was different that her siblings. While Charlotte was more goal-oriented and Jacob was more spontaneous, Carly was more reserved.

"With you kids, we always have to expect the unexpected." Amelia spoke breaking the silence that had settled in the car.

Her statement had caught Carly's attention as she looked toward her mother. A small smile graced the older blonde's face as she thought of her children despite the trouble they landed themselves in.

"There is a maniac running around this town and all three of you are not where you're suppose to be. I think you've all take after your father more than you realize." Amelia noted continuing the drive home.

"I'm sorry." Carly spoke softly not addressing the mysterious person she found herself with.

Amelia let out a sigh as she thought of her children in danger. It was the one thing that she valued most in the world, their safety. "So are you going to tell me who gave you a ride to City Hall?"

The girl was silent for awhile unsure how exactly to communicate with her mother. To tell her a the boy she knew nothing about besides the fact that he belonged to a certain biker gang. She began to wonder if it would've been better to be scolded by her father rather than to be questioned by her mother. At least she wouldn't have to explain how exactly she stumbled across the boy and why exactly she got on the bike.

"I'm not exactly sure. He just offered me a ride to get out of the rain." She finally admitted wondering how her mother would react.

"How kind of him." Amelia commented as they began to pull into the trailer park. "Just be glad it was me who found you. If it were your father, you both might've still been sitting there while he scolded the both of you."

Carly let out a breath as the exited the car to enter the trailer. But the scolding was still on the agenda, she realized as they enter the door and her two older siblings were seated on the couch, their father standing with his arms crossed. Their heads turned to the duo when they entered, Daniel letting out a breath at the sight of her before asking where she found her. Her head snapped to her mother but she only mentioned the location and not the transportation or the person, which left Carly relieved.
