"Good morning, my dear sweet Ariana," David told his fiancé.

Ariana walked right past him and into the fields.

It was several months ago that she and David had been 'together.' They were managing the farm back where Ariana once lived, as David would inherit that once he married Ariana. Actually, it was pretty much his already!!

"Ariana! Stay in the house! We need you to stay as pale as possible! It's not as pretty to have tan skin!" David called after her.

Again, she ignored him.

---------------------

"Hey... Will...."she panted, calling to the man who had really become her best friend despite the lack of communication. He waved.

"Mind if I help? If I imagine one of the bales of hay is David...."

Will moved in front of the hay protectively. Ariana laughed. "Good point. I'd probably just spread it everywhere. But can you believe it? He was talking to me about how I needed to stay inside since pale skin is more attractive..." She rambled, beginning to help while NOT imagining that David was a bale of hay.

---------------------

Ariana sat in her room, crying. She knew that she was in love with Will... Yet she was being married to David.

Her wedding day was tomorrow, and yet, she was not happy. She wished that Will could speak. If he could, then... Well... She had no doubt that he, too, would have been a successful farmer and father would have no objections to the two of them marrying.

She had suspicions that Will liked her. What girl didn't know what red roses meant? But... It was David that she was to be with. And she was crying.

---------------------

"Isn't it bad luck for a groom to see a bride in her dress before the wedding?" Ariana asked, sadly holding up the hem of her long skirt.

"I only wanted to give you a warning," David hissed. "You had better not try anything until we're married. I know that you don't want to be here."

"What?"

"Look. I marry you, I get the farm. If you happened to die tragically on our honeymoon, the farm is mine and I'm open to inherit another farm. So shut your face and go get married." He walked off to his position.

Will entered from the next room, eyes wide, no doubt had heard David's speech.

Someone quickly ushered him of to the chapel.

-----------------

The wedding continued.

"...so speak now or forever hold your peace."

One person stood. Will.

"I object."

------------------

(A/N okay, so the play turned out awful. Really, really awful.)

Everyone gave each other high fives, except for Drew.

He just straight up hugged May. "I'm glad you're okay..."

"And I'm sorry for everything I said. I didn't mean it, I-

"I know, May. You were trying to protect me. And... I..."

"What is it?"

"Well... Since you turned Brendan down, I guess you don't have a date to the dance. Right?"

"Depends. Are you asking me?"

"Er... Maybe? Yes?"

Then yes. I would love to go with you, Drew Hayden."

A huge smile spread across both of their faces.

-----------------

Meh, not the best or extremely conclusive ending, but...

I might rewrite the ending after a little while and I regain some inspiration for this story.

In the mean time, I am un-hiatusing 'Through Norman's Eyes.'

I am warning you now that the updates will be longer because of the extra reserch that I have to do for it. The chapters might also be a little shorter.

That being said,

See ya!
