"Hermione I just wanted to make sure we're okay"
"Yes, Eri we're subtle! Though I don't think you are, with Sheri. She keeps nagging me on my way around you" Hermione huffed, still scribbling her parchment.
"That... we are enemies Hermione"
She looked at him, giving him a look in response; encourage him to go on.
"We were supposed to be a family, but our grandfathers had concerns towards one another. They seized our most valuable heirloom. It was supposed to go to my grandfather, Glorend Abbott. His grandfather tried to put his privilege to claim it. In the end, my grandfather won it, her grandfather was so furious about it. He changed their surnames into Lindell and made an unbreakable vow to never be civil with the Abbots. That's one of the reasons Hermione. it just getting worse we are in the different quidditch team, she mostly takes every opportunity in the field to kill while the game running" Eridane laugh at the end
While Hermione left with no words, she was surprised with the fact and never know this fact from her future-past friend, Hannah Abbott. Though the Lindell family was not existing anymore in the future.
"I'm... so sorry about that. I'm glad you still make it alive till today" Hermione has clearly been joking by now.
Eri just chuckled at Hermione.

Weeks passed without any of Hermione's care. Her encounter with the dark lord is not more than a nod when they were passing by one another in the hall, and to Hermione's fortune, Sheri and Rose always there by her side though. Hermione began to be enamored of Eridane Abbott. Somehow when they meet in the corridor or hall he would politely ask Hermione to escort her to her destination and bring her belongings so she would walk with empty hands and shoulders. Sheri would not mind that as long as she will not get into face to face situation with Eridane, she also understands the boy has an interest in Hermione.

"Please, Professor. I can't remain here. It's not my place. Not where I belong and destined for. You can't just give everything all up like it's nothing" Hermione almost barked whilst seething in her chair in front of an old form, Armadillo Dippet.
"I told you, Miss Granger. The ministry doesn't allow me to do any further work in travel you back up to your time. Besides, we don't precisely know what risk might lurk you into. You can mayhap throw into a century in the future either past. No one knows... As you remember, Miss. You're brought to this time unwillingly and for the sake of heaven, no one even knows why" Headmaster Dippet felt sorry for Hermione.
"But I have no one here, what am I supposed to do if I'd graduated? I heard women went straight ahead to marriage after graduation in this time, correct Professor?" Said Hermione
"Unfortunately yes, Miss Granger. Just a very few women work in the ministry. That's because they are pureblood. That their family holds positions in ministry. Some work in their own family shops" The headmaster says.
Hermione cups her face with her palms grumbled softly. "What an odd thing to do. I'm not planning to fine partner in a matter of time soon"
The silence fell heavy between them, neither one of them have an indulgent idea about her future past. Though something went to her mind. Hermione wasn't sure about this yet but she will at least try.
"Professor, did you believe I was 'the brightest witch at her age'?" She leans forward signaling that this went further down.
"Of course, Miss Granger you'd taken as many NEWTS as Tom Riddle moreover your test score is superb"
