Her: How does it feel like when you truly love someone?
Him: It's like building sand castles on the shore.
Her: That's very temporary. It'll be gone easily.
Him: I didn't say love is the sand castle. Love is the choice of creating sand castles even you knew it'll be washed away by the sea easily. It's the pursuit of building something even so fragile because it makes you genuinely happy.
(Then there was a long silence.)
Her: Do you think I can always choose to love that person?
Him (in mind): I wish you can choose to love me instead.
