"Ah.. A day with no comissions! It feels great, right, Lumine?" The girl said, sitting on a rock. Lumine nods and sits beside her. Paimon shows up and starts looking around. The two girls were enjoying the view. Little did they know, there was an Abyss mage slowly sneaking up on the two. It was slowly approaching them, and there it was, ready to strike. But just when it was ready to get attacked, it got hit by a spear. The Abyss mage fled away, grumbling. The girls turn around, and look at the person that saved their lives. "I'm sorry, are you two alright? That Abyss mage nearly got a hit on you." The man said. His voice was deep, and mysterious. Toko wanted to learn more about him.

"Ah, yes, we're fine.." Lumine blurts out, looking away. Toko was staring at the man. "And you, are you in particular alright?" He continues, looking at her. The man raises an eyebrow and waves his hand in front of her face. She had no response. The man was starting to get nervous, and poked her nose. "Ah- Oh um.. S-Sorry." Toko said, looking away. The tall man smiled at her, making her insides tie into knots. She looked at her hands, then at his face. He was still smiling. She smiles back, and Lumine and Paimon are happily gossipping away. He reaches his hand out to her, and she happily takes it and gets up.

"So, mystery man, what's your name?" Paimon asks, floating in front of him. "I'm Zhongli, I work at the Wangsheng funeral parlor." He said, running a hand through his hair. Paimon's suspicious glare turned into a smile. "Paimon is Paimon, and this is Toko!" Paimon excitedly says, looking at him. "And this is Lumine!" Lumine quickly raises her hand. Toko nearly tripped over a rock; she was staring again. Zhongli notices and smiles. She internally was screaming over him.

Shortly walking, they arrived in Liyue. Lumine and Paimon stood still in the crossway. "We have to head to the Adventurer's Guild here, we'll see you at the Wanmin restaurant." Lumine said. This was all going to their plan. "Alright, see you!" Toko said, waving. Zhongli places a hand on her shoulder, and nods towards the other way. "Alright.." She mutters, looking away shyly. "So, Toko, you're quite the person that likes to stare." He says, looking at her. "W-What?! I don't know what you're talking about.." She stutters, sweating. Zhongli smiles briefly, before stopping in his tracks. "We're here." He said, opening the door to the Wangsheng funeral parlor. Toko walks in, and takes the scent of light flowers in.

They were walking around in the halls, and Toko was seated in a chair in his office. Zhongli locks his door and looks around. "It's a mess, I'll finish some paperwork and then we'll head off to Wanmin." He said, taking his seat, and heads off to work. Toko, being the curious girl that she is, eyes all of his books narrowly, and looks around. Out of pure kindness, she cleans the bookcases. Zhongli looked up from his paperwork, and she was cleaning the shelves with a piece of cloth. He was now the one staring, but he smiles briefly and continues writing some things down.

Toko accidentally drops the cloth, and kneels to pick it up. Zhongli looked up again, and pink dusted his cheeks lightly. He quickly focuses on paperwork again. Toko sighs, and wipes her sweat away. Zhongli looked at her, and looks away. Toko didn't notice, and threw the cloth away. He quickly finishes his paperwork, and puts his fountain pen away. He makes the stacks of paper neatly in a corner, and takes a deep inhale. Toko smiles, and quickly unlocks the room and leaves. Zhongli watched her leave, and got up to follow her, but she came running back with a teapot and two cups. He smiles in realisation and takes his seat again.
