It took some time before you shot up, and touched the space around you. You noticed your parents were sleeping next to your bed. Your eyes moved from the area around you, to your hands. "This isn't my room.." You silently mutter, before you finally realized.

You were hospitalized.

"What the.. But I was in my room?" You say, trying to get up. You felt a stinging pain in your left arm, and legs. You let out a silent groan. "Where's my phone.. Have to tell.. Classma-" You quickly got interrupted by a shriek from your mother. "She.. She's awake!" She cried, throwing her arms around you. "M-Mom.. What happened..?" You ask, still trying to process it in.

"C-Car accident.. Nearly fatal.. Lucky.." Were the only things you could make out of her whimpers and sobbing. "Where's my phone.. Mom?" You ask, slightly pushing your mother away. "It's right here.. We told everyone. Your teachers, classmates.." Your mom pulled out your phone, and you quickly snatched it out of her hands.

You make your way to the messenger app, and your faces horrors.

Rikka: 45 messages.
Miku: 10 messages.
Jessie: 306 messages, 69 missing calls.
Elaina: 25 messages, 45 missing calls.
And several other contacts..

But.. Where are your other friends?
Diluc, Childe, Razor, Zhongli, Ningguang, Jean, Lisa, Fischl, Hu Tao.. The list could go on.

"M-Mother.. I'm sorry for that rude action, but when can I go back to school?" You mutter, putting the phone away. "Soon, you're still recovering." Your dad says, folding his arms.

"Soon, huh..?" You whisper to yourself, before someone knocks on your door. "Uhm.. Miss and Mister L/N? Your daughter needs to get her rest now." The nurse says, smiling. "Understandable, have a nice day." Your dad slightly spat, causing your mother to sigh.

"Oh come on! Y/N just woke up and you're already showing her your attitu-" The nurse coughs slightly, looking bothered. "Mom, dad, please leave." You say, folding your arms. "And, which floor is this?" You quickly ask the nurse, who shuffles a bit forwards to you. "The fourth floor, ma'am.. Now get your rest." The nurse smiles at you briefly, muttering a silent thank you.

Once everyone left your room, you got up. You silently cursed at your legs, but you kept going. You were walking through the hallways, tears streaming down your face.

Your friends, your school, your life, it was gone. It was all a dream. Were you just- Your phone got a notification. You stop walking, and take your phone out of the hospital night gown. "We're waiting for you, Traveller!" Was splayed on the screen, the notification coming from Genshin Impact.

That's when it hit you.

You were just a girl that enjoyed the Genshin world, Tevyat, and it's people. It was all a dream.

Just, a dream.

This didn't help at all, and you darted for the stairs.

You knew that Hospitals have a roof, and you look at the stairs. You figured that this was the last floor inside of the building. "This is going to hurt, but I have no choice. People will send me back if I go with the elevator.." You mutter, slowly taking your time to go up the stairs.

"Almost.. There.." You cough, the pain still stinging in your legs.

"Made.. It!" You exhale, quickly going for the side with the best view. You made your way over to the railing, and you look at the view. You closed your eyes, and all of your friends in the dream were smiling at you.

"M-Ma'am?! What are you doing? Go back to your room, this instant!" It was the nurse, who furiously looked at you. You smiled at her, and climbed over the railing. You hissed at the pain, but you shaked it off. "I have to see an old friend, sorry." You turn around to look at the nurse, who was looking at you in fear.

She mouthed a 'Don't.'. You smiled at her. "I'm sorry. I hope you'll be the greatest nurse that has ever existed. I hope you can forgive me for this!" You say, before letting go of the railing.

It all felt like it was a dream, in slow motion. The nurse was at the railing, her hand reaching out for you. She was crying, and you can feel her tears dripping on your cheeks. You smile at this, and close your eyes. You whisper 'I'm sorry.'

And that's when you hit the ground.

And you woke up.
