"Another donation?" Gulf asked one of his colleagues.
"Yes."
"That's the second time this month." Gulf pondered.
"We can do so much with the money. We can even buy some equipments for the emergency room."
"You're right." Gulf answered but his mind immediately thought of Mew.

The coincidence was just too obvious. Before Mew, they would be lucky if any big companies or entrepreneurs could donate once every few months. Now, they had a few in a month. Gulf smirked when he learned that the donations came from different companies and names. Nevertheless, deep in his heart he just knew that Mew was responsible. He took out his cell phone and called the man.

"Hi Gulf. You alright?" Mew asked.
"Hey Mew... I'm good. Thanks."
"Mew... How many times have you donated to the clinic this month alone?" Gulf immediately asked him.
"I don't know what you're talking about..." Mew answered.
"Are you sure?" Gulf was not convinced.
"Don't you like people donating to the clinic?" Mew questioned him instead.
"Are you our Daddy Long Legs?" Gulf said and Mew laughed.
"I can be your Daddy... And I do have rather long legs for a man from Thailand." Mew teased Gulf.
"I'm going to disregard the Daddy part... Not going there!" Gulf muttered while Mew laughed.
"By the way... I think my legs are longer Mew... Cause I am many inches taller than you." He snickered.
"Maybe an inch or two... Don't exaggerate Gulf." Mew stated and Gulf smiled at how annoyed the man sounded.
"I'm still taller than you." Gulf boasted.
"An inch Gulf!"
"You said an inch OR two..." Gulf argued.
"I lied... An inch then." Mew responded and Gulf laughed.
"Hey... Coming back to the question... You've been donating to our clinic, haven't you? Come on Mew... It's you right?" He insisted. Then, Gulf could hear Mew sighing.
"What if I have Gulf?"
"Then... Thank you so much... You don't know how grateful I am or we are." Gulf asserted.
"Gulf, if your clinic needs anything... Please tell me. I would be happy to help." Mew shared.
"Thank you Mew. We are doing quite alright actually. What you've given us enable us to get new equipment for our new emergency room." Gulf stated.
"We are good for the next several months!" He continued.
"Oh yeah... Are we still on this weekend Mew?" Gulf asked.
"Gulf... About this weekend... I..."
"You can't go... Is it? If you're busy, I understand Mew. No worries." Gulf told him.
"Something came up and I have to go to Singapore."
"It's alright Mew... Maybe next time... It's not that big of a deal. It's just lunch and some paintballs." Gulf said.
"I would rather have lunch and get shot by some paintballs then going to Singapore. Trust me." Mew countered.
"Careful what you wish for Mew... It's not fun getting shot at with those paintballs." Gulf muttered.
"I can beat your ass anytime Gulf." Mew snickered.
"Hah! Mr Suppasit... Don't count your chicken before there hatch."
"We'll go when we can find the time." Mew answered.
"You mean when YOU find the the time Mr Hot Shot Crazy Rich Asian Guy." Gulf laughed.
"I am not that rich Gulf." Mew asserted.
"Actually... How rich are you Mew?"
"Rich enough to help you and your clinic when needed..." Mew replied.
"A safe answer... Huh..." Gulf muttered.
"Gulf...I'm sorry... I've got to run."
"Oh... Sorry Mew... Sorry if I've taken you away from your work." Gulf sounded deflated.
"No worries. I'll call you later okay."
"Bye Mew... And thank you Daddy Long Legs!" Gulf stated and Mew laughed.
"Bye Gulf."

Gulf smiled as he continued to stare at his cell phone. Then, he sighed. He was really looking forward to go out with Mew that weekend. He was actually looking forward to play some paintballs but he had to accept that Mew was an extremely busy man. Gulf slid his cell phone into his pocket and made his way to the front of the clinic.

"Dr Kanawut, why are you pouting?" An elderly nurse named Justine asked him.
"Pouting? I don't pout." Gulf looked offended.
"You are young man!" Justine pinched Gulf's cheek.
"What did I do?" Gulf rubbed his sore cheek.
"For lying."
"I was not lying..." Gulf defended himself.
"How long have I've known you? Huh?"
"Since I started working here." Gulf answered.
"Honey... You are like a son to me and I know you. Something is bugging you. Tell me what's bothering you?" Justine questioned him.
"Nothing... I promise." Gulf replied and the older woman glared knowingly at him.
"Justine... I'm FINE!" He raised his hands in defence.
"You looked as if someone kicked your puppy." Justine shook her head.
"I don't own a puppy." Gulf grinned.
"Cheeky are you?" Justine growled and Gulf laughed.
"Let me help you with that." Gulf fathered the files in front of her.
"Where do you want me to put them?" He asked her.
"At the filing racks at the back. If you need me, you know where to find me." Justine said to him.
"Thank you Justine." Gulf smiled at her and carefully carried all the filed to the back room.
