"Kitten... Can you not go home?" Mew asked.

Gulf stopped eating and smiled.

"I have work tomorrow and I don't have any clothes here." Gulf explained.
"I can get you new clothes."
"You don't have to Mew..." Gulf shook his head.
"What if I want to?"
"Mew... Aren't we doing this... A little too fast?" Gulf questioned him.
"Not to me..." Mew mused.
"How long do you want me to stay here?"
"As long as you like Gulf..." Mew said.
"I personally want you here... Always." He added and brushed Gulf's hair from his forehead.
"You are a busy man... I know that and you know that... Maybe you can come to my house instead! I have a single bed and we can squeeze ourselves there." Gulf grinned.
"I would love to be in your bed with you... Single or not." Mew smiled.
"I think... I have fallen for you Gulf... I am on my knees." He shared.
"Wow..." Gulf whispered and blushed.
"Yeah... That can be one way to describe it." Mew said and stole a kiss from gulf.
"I don't know what to say..."
"You don't have to say anything... I'm just happy that you're here with me." Mew shared.
"Me too... Even though I am technically playing hooky." Gulf stated.
"You're not a school kid Kitten... You're an adult... Hooky?" Mew asked.
"You're here cause you love my kisses..." He teased Gulf.

Gulf blushed again.

"Shut up..." Gulf murmured and continued eating.
"Do you like the food?"
"You're spoiling me." Gulf answered.
"I live to serve you Kitten."
"If I were a Kitten... What are you then Mew?" Gulf questioned him.
"Your Master."
"Master?" Gulf made a face.
"Cats don't listen to their Master." He added.
"They don't but as a master... I pamper you... Feed you... Take care of you and make sure you... Purr." Mew insinuated.
"You're nuts!" Gulf punched Mew's arms and he laughed at the younger man's expression.
"You don't know how much I appreciate you being here Gulf..."
"Why Mew? Why do you say that?" Gulf asked him.
"I am always... ALWAYS surrounded by people... But I am always lonely and now... I don't feel that lonely anymore." Mew explained to Gulf.
"I can't always play hooky Mew... You too." Gulf smiled.
"I don't care if I lose millions if I could be with you."
"How about billions?" Gulf asked him.
"You!"
"I am honoured but I know you have people depending on you and you can't let them down." Gulf asserted.

    Mew smiled but he was immediately reminded of his father. How dangerous it would be if he knew that had found Gulf. He knew he was buying his time. It was a matter of when his father would find out about Gulf.

"Hey... You alright?" Gulf asked and held Mew's face.
"Yeah..." Mew smiled.
"You always do this..."
"Do what?" Mew questioned.
"Your mind wanders off and then... You would look sad..." Gulf whispered.
"You can tell me Mew... I am here for you." He smiled and kissed Mew's lips.
"Thank you Kitten." Mew sighed and wound his arms around Gulf's waist.

    He put his head on Gulf's shoulder and closed his eyes.

"Here you go again... What's on your mind Mew?"
"You."
"Me?" Gulf queried and Mew nodded.
"I make you feel down?" Gulf asked and Mew shook his head.
"You make feel so happy and the thought of losing you again... Makes me so scared." Mew whispered miserably.
"We are no longer children Mew... We create our own destiny."
"I know we are no longer children but there are things out there... Forces that can wrench you away..."
"That's life... We can't control everything... If I could, I would be able to save every single patient and everyone that I care about." Gulf murmured.
"Mew... We can just be grateful with what we have now... The rest is not in our hands." He continued.
"I wish... No... No... I want to make my own fate... Control my own life... So that you can be with me as long as I am alive..." Mew explained.

    Gulf listened to what Mew said and he could sense his desperation. He could not understand why Mew would react like that because he had everything. The only explanation that Gulf could come up with was the fact he was taken away from him when they were children. Maybe Mew was still extremely traumatised by the whole ordeal.
