Chloe:

Strands of my long brown hair kept falling out of the bun I had messily made on top of my head. I sighed in frustration at that, while repeatedly hitting my head on the desk I was sitting at, which definitely only made my hair even more messy, but oh well.

"I'll never pass this test" I exclaimed loudly.

I was currently studying for my test, that I really need to pass since I failed the last one. And how can I study when my mind is occupied with other things? On top of that I still have to do that stupid project with none other than Mr. Rich himself. I'm basically doing the project myself and that is kind of hard considering the task is to interview each other and then write an essay about it but complaining won't work since he is rich or well his parents are.

I promised myself to just suck it up and do this stupid project, even though I would much rather not. Passing this semester though is more important to me then my own pride.

I threw my textbook at the door and to my luck right in that moment my best friend and my roommate came into the room. "I understand that you're frustrated but that's no reason to kill me" Kiley laughed out while picking up my book and placing it on the desk next to me.

I turned around to face her with a small apologetic smile on my face. "I'm sorry, I didn't think you would come in right that second."

She started laughing, which caused her dark brown curls to bounce around her face. Did I mention how perfect her hair looks with her dark brown skin? Ok, we're getting distracted here. "All good." "Are you still working on that stupid project with that idiot of guy, who refuses to help you?" She asked me when she saw my state.

I rolled my eyes, while pushing myself off my desk chair. "What do you think? Of course, I am. But not at this very moment, because currently I'm studying for my test tomorrow, which I didn't have time to do before since I was trying to get my partner to do his part of the project." After I finished speaking, I fell on my bed with a thump, being way to exhausted from studying to move even an inch. "Then tell your teacher. This can't go on forever."

Before I could tell her that this would never work, for reason I have already mentioned, someone knocked on the door of our dorm room. "I'm not getting up to open up" I announced loudly before hiding my head in my pillow. Kiley giggled at my actions. "You're still the same cute little Chloe from High school in my eyes."

No other words were spoken, but someone, I mean Kiley, decided that they should open the door because I heard her get up and then I heard a voice that I missed so much.

"Where is my little Sister?" Someone I loved very dearly asked. I immediately jumped out of my bed and practically fell into his arms. "I missed you so much" I said while hugging him tightly.

Elias, my older brother, smiled brightly at my actions and happily wrapped his arms around my body "I did too and that is exactly why I'm here." After a few more minutes of us hugging I jumped out of his arms and quickly pulled him into the room.

"I'll go get Elena" Kiley announced before leaving the dorm room and closing the door behind her. "So how is College?" He asked me while he sat down on the edge of my bed, and I fell back onto my bed.

"Great" My voice was filled with obvious sarcasm. "Is it that bad?"

I shrug my shoulders at his question "It's just a lot of work. The huge amount of work and all the different tests are stressing me out. Especially since my partner won't do any of the work, so I have to do all of it by myself, which means that I barely have time to study and it's hard to interview yourself. I'm still trying to figure out how to make him help me, or at least answer my questions, I'll write the god damm essay for him. Oh, and I also nearly killed Kiley with a textbook earlier."
