The TARDIS was silent, there was no rambling from The Doctor, no complaining from Willow and no laughing from Alexandra. Then, there was a loud, piercing scream.

"Stop telling me to breathe!" Willow shouts over at her husband in the medbay. The twins were coming, 2 weeks early.

"Sorry...sorry," he widens his eyes and looks over to River who laughs slightly. Since the twins were early, there was no chance Willow was getting to Sisters of the Infinite Schism. And despite the protests from The Doctor, the best option was for Willow to give birth in the TARDIS. Vastra, Jenny and Strax were also present and Willow had told Strax to 'get the hell away from me', so he was talking River through the process. Willow would only let her sister do it.

"You'll have to start pushing soon Ma'am," Strax told her and she grabs the sheets of the hospital bed she was on. She hoped Alexandra couldn't hear her. Jenny had taken her deeper into the TARDIS to distract her. Willow cries out again as a contraction hits "Soon has turned to now," Strax tells everyone and River looks down nervously.

"Okay, Okay," Willow breathes "Just...tell me what to do,"

"Push," So she does, and more screams follow. She tries not to think about her sister at the end of her, having to look at her vagina whilst she pushes two babies out. She really tries.

"You have to keep pushing," Strax instructs and Willow nearly throws something at him.

"I know!" Willow reaches her hand out and The Doctor takes it, she gives it a sharp squeeze whilst she pushes again.

"I can see the head!" River shouts through the screaming from her sister "I think!"

"Oh, that's promising!"

"Talking is not advised," Strax adds and Willow glares

"Perhaps we should leave this to Melody," Vastra pulls Strax back while River tells Willow to keep pushing. Suddenly, there's a loud cry and Willow feels a bit of relief as she falls back on the bed.

"What's the -" Willow catches her breath

"A boy," River smiles up at her sister, as Vastra helps her cut the umbilical cord and clean him up slightly. Willow watches as he's wrapped in a dark blue blanket and she lets go of The Doctor's hand, gesturing for him to hold their son. He takes him from Vastra and Willow smiles, watching as her husband looks down at their son with nothing but pure love.

There's more screaming.

"The other one is coming," Strax informs them "Do not push yet,"

"Oh Jesus," Strax takes baby number one from The Doctor and goes to weigh him, River takes off her gloves and cleans her hands before putting new ones on.

"What are we going to name him?" Willow asks weakly, fighting through another contraction

"Well, you named Alex,"

"No, I didn't!" she shouts, suddenly as the second set of contractions draw closer "It was a joint effort,"

"Okay," the Doctor nods, "What do you think?"

"You might want to start pushing," River says, grimacing at the bed.

"Yes," Strax agrees "This one may be more painful," he passes the baby to The Doctor

"I -" Willow shakes her head "I can't,"

"Yes, you can," The Doctor tells her, grabbing her hand "You just did it. And you've done it before,"

"They gave me more dru-" she screams "-gs the first time!"

"You have to push," River insists and Willow nods, staring the process all over again. It's more difficult this time, everything seems to hurt now and it takes much longer for the head to appear. Willow is covered in sweat and as she sits up, crying from the pain, the others can hear small whispers in between of 'I want my dad'. The Doctor has to look away for a moment, taking a deep breath as Willow clutches the sheets screaming.

Nearly a minute later, there's another cry, but it's different, higher pitched. Willow falls back on the bed once more.

"It's a girl," River smiles at her sister and brother-in-law, carrying out the same process as before with their daughter. Strax immediately takes her to be weighed though and Willow sits up, leaning into The Doctor weakly as he rubs her back.

"Can I hold him?" The Doctor lowers their son into her arms "He doesn't look like a Charlie,"

"Is that what you wanted to call him?" The Doctor laughs slightly

"Fully it would be Charles," Willow defends

"I was thinking maybe Oliver,"

"Oliver," Willow smiles, looks at their son "I like that," she tells The Doctor and he smiles, Strax comes over with their daughter and The Doctor says Willow should hold he first, considering he got to hold their boy. He takes him off her hands and Strax lowers the girl into Willow's arms. She stares at her, absolutely struck by her daughter.

"Amelia," she mutters, but The Doctor hears, she looks up "Amelia," she decides and this time he smiles, a silent agreement.

And so, at 5:58pm on the 15th of January, earth time, Oliver Rory Wilfred Pond was born, and 10 minutes later, Amelia Martha Pond was brought into the world alongside her brother.
