Later that night, Clara wakes up slowly, groaning from the pain in her head. She looks around and sees The Doctor's half eaten Jamie dodger before sitting up. She gets up slowly and goes to the attic window, looking out, this is when she sees The Doctor and Willow sat outside the TARDIS in garden chairs. Willow is typing away on Clara's laptop and The Doctor is fidgeting with the large spoonhead which is now dismantled.
"Hello?" Clara shouts down
"Hi!" The Doctor waves
"You alright now?" Willow asks, standing up and putting Clara's laptop on a table they'd acquired.
"I'm in bed..."
"Yes," The Doctor nods
"Don't remember going,"
"No,"
"What did I miss?"
"Oh, quite a lot, actually," The Doctor starts, grabbing a notepad from his blazer pocket "Angie called. She's going to stay over at Nina's. Apparently, that's all completely fine and you shouldn't worry like you always do. For god's sake get off her back," he repeats the girl's words "Also, your dad phoned, mainly about the government. He seems very cross with them; I've got several pages on that. I said I'd look into it. I fixed that rattling noise in the washing machine, indexed the kitchen cupboards, optimised photosynthesis in the main flower bed and assembled a quadricycle,"
"And I did absolutely nothing because I wanted to take a nap!" Willow grins, moving the garden chair to face Clara and bouncing down on it.
"Assembled a what?"
"I found a disassembled quadricycle in the garage," The Doctor explains
"I don't think you did," Clara shakes her head
"I invented the quadricycle..." the Doctor realises "Ha!"
There's a moment of silence "What happened to me?"
"Don't you remember?"
"I was scared, really scared. Didn't know where I was..."
"Do you know now?" Willow asks softly
"Yes,"
"Well then, you should go to sleep. Because you're safe now, I promise. Goodnight, Clara," The Doctor smiles and Clara goes closes her window, The Doctor sits next to his wife as Clara pops her head out again.
"Are you two guarding me?"
"Well... Yes," Willow admits "we are,"
"Are you seriously going to sit down there all night?"
"I promise we won't budge from this spot," The Doctor says dramatically
"Well then, I'll have to come to you," she smirks and disappears again and The Doctor looks at Willow confused. They adjust their little area for the night, expecting another guest. They wait a few minutes and Clara exits the front door with three mugs. She passes The Doctor his from her left hand and then she detaches the second one in her right and passes it to Willow who thanks her, watching the other woman go grab a chair from the kitchen.
"I like your house," The Doctor compliments
"It isn't mine. I'm a friend of the family,"
"But you look after the kids. Oh yes, you're a governess, aren't you, just like -" he trails off,
"Just like what?" Clara sits down on her chair the wrong way 'round.
"Just like..." The Doctor thinks for a moment, hiding it while he takes a sip of tea "I thought you probably would be," Willow snorts into her cup as she sits.
