Auradon

"Sleeve. Head." The tailor instructed the young king-to-be. Prince Ben, the son of Belle and Beast stood there staring at the Isle of the lost thinking of the children that he was going to bring to live on Auradon. But how everyone would act, he does not know.

"How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" His father, Adam (also known as Beast) exclaimed.

"He's turning sixteen, dear." His wife, Belle, chuckled at her husband's sentence.

"Hey, pops." Ben smiled at the sight of his parents.

"Sixteen? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least forty-two."

"Uh, you decided to marry me at twenty-eight." Bell retorted at him.

"Ah, it was either you or a teapot." He tried to joke; Ben chuckled but his wife was not amused. "Kidding." Adam smiled.

"Mom, dad..." Ben started.

"Ah! Nn-nnh!" The tailor yelled when he moved.

"I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." Ben stated, his parents shocked by the proclamation that their son made. The children of their enemies, living with them!

"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" His father asked, anger slipping through his sentence.

"We'll start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." Ben said, he knew the people he chose wouldn't get a good reaction out of them.

"Have you?" Adam asked.

"I gave you a second chance." Belle defended her son. "Who are their parents?" She asked.

"Cruella De Vil... Jafer... Evil Queen... Maleficent... and Gaston." Ben paused in between each name, wanting his parents to process each name and so that he would delay himself saying the last two names.

"Maleficent! She's the worst villain in the land! And Gaston!! Our enemy!" Adam yelled, he could no longer keep back his anger, especially at the last name.

"Dad, just hear me out!" Ben yelled, trying to defend himself.

"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Adam denied his son a chance to speak.

"Dad!" Ben shouted; his father finally looked at him. "Their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" Adam didn't answer. "Dad?"

"I suppose their children are innocent." Adam said, accepting his son's reasoning.

"Well, well done. Shall we?" Belle asked, happy that her son and husband were able to talk.

The Isle of the Lost

"We're rotten to the core."

"I made my first proclamation."

"I've chosen five children... Cruella De Vil, Jafer, Evil Queen, Maleficent and Gaston."

""It's the deeds, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil."

"...In Auradon."

"I just want you to understand something. I don't care about Belle and the beast. I just want you to be happy."

"Brookie... I love you."

"They are innocent, they deserve a chance at a good life."

"It feels amazing to be free."

"Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep."

"I'm Ethan. Son of Ariel and Eric."

"Chocolate chips. Just like the most important food group."

"I love you, Mal! Did I mention that?"

"I never had a sister...now you have two."

"I love you Brooklyn. I love you so much."

"How dare you blame Ben!"

"I choose good you guys."

Brooklyn woke up gasping for breathes which attracted her brother Gil.

"Brookie!" He exclaimed at the sight of his sister taking deep breathes. "What happened?"

"So... many... images... head... hurts." Brooklyn gasped. Gil didn't know what to do except to hold his sister close to him and call for their father.

"What's wrong?" Gaston asked running into the room at the voice of his son yelling.

"It's Brookie!"

"Brooklyn." Gaston grabbed her attention. "What happened?"

"So many images and voices passed through my head daddy. It hurts." Brooklyn whimpered.

"Oh honey." Gaston hugged his daughter; he knew what was happening. "You had a vision of what is to come."

"How do I control it? I don't like it." Brooklyn started crying.

"It's not something you can control easily. It takes a lot of practice and energy. It's something that you can't control here. Only in Auradon."

"I hate Auradon. They get to live perfect lives while we're all here struggling." All Gaston felt was guilt, it was his actions that led to his children living an awful life.

"I love you both so much. I hope you know that." Gaston whispered to both his children.
