I pulled up to the vet office to pick up tayden as she walked out

"I texted you an hour and a half ago"

she said getting into my car

"I know im sorry I had to change quin and then she spit up so I had to change her outfit and then I was driving slowly to make sure I got here with her safe"

I told her as she buckled in

"awe I was joking I don't mind but thank you billie"

she said hugging me

"you know drew and zoe think we're soulmates"

I told her as I pulled out

"that's what they told me"

she said shocked as she giggled

"do you think we are"

she asked

I shrugged

"do you"

she asked as I shrugged too

it was quiet for a second

"where we going"

she asked

"a private restaurant"

I told her as she nodded as she looked into the backseat smiling at her daughter

"how was work"

I asked

she sighed

"well helped with 3 surgeries a puppy peed on me and all my co workers are flipping over the fact I showed up with you"

she said laughing a bit while I nodded

"how about you"

she asked

"well I took quin to fin's house and I recorded a bit and then we ate she napped with Claudia and then that's when all that happened and then I came here to get you"

I told her as she nodded

"she was good right not too bad"

she asked

"she was an angel"

I told her as she smiled

"That's good....wish she was like that with me...little devil"

She said

I laughed

"Nah she was good for me"

I said

I pulled into the back of a private restaurant as I got out and ran around to let Tayden out

I grabbed the baby and carried her in

"God you're so cuteee"

I said to the baby as Tayden giggled and stood by me tapping her daughters nose lightly as the baby smiled looking over at her mom

"Can't believe she's 3 months already"

She said pouting a bit

I giggled

We got a table and ordered food

I couldn't take my eyes off of Quin

I kept thinking of what Drew and Zoe said about being her future mom

I smiled at the thought

I knew it was just them getting in their heads

But I don't think me and Tayden will ever get that far into a relationship again

I'm scared of relationships to be honest

"Billie bear"

She called

Wow that's an old one

I hummed in response

"You ok"

She asked handing me a baby bottle to feed Quin

"Yeah...I'm great"

I said looking down at Quin and givning her the bottle

She was so cute the way she looked up at me and put her little hands on the bottle next to mind and would gently smile from time to time and she jerked her head lightly just to get a look around

We started eating as another waiter walked by

"I'm assuming she's both of your guy's daughter"

The lady asked with a genuine smile

Tayden went to say something but I stopped her

"Yes she is"

I cut in to save Tayden the awkwardness of telling the whole story

"You guys are such a cute family"

The lady said walking away as I smiled

"Thanks bil"

Tayden said

"Of course Tay"

I said smiling back

Things only got better after dinner
