Even before Gulf finished his sentence Max was halfway through the door with Gulf in tow.

He hurried to the parking where he had left the Doctor just a short while back.

He hoped it was nothing serious. If Gulf had come to find him and addressed him as 'Boss Max' instead of the normal 'P'Max', meant it certainly couldn't be something life threatening. He knew Gulf could be a pain in the ass at times but he was also the type who could risk his own life for even a stranger.

That meant Gulf had probably offended the soft spoken doctor. And mentally prepared himself for smoothing some more ruffled feathers.

As he approached the parking he saw the doctor scrolling through his phone. He didn't look surly or annoyed and Max let out a soft sigh of relief.

"Khun, sorry to bother you once again..." Tul spoke with an apologetic smile, when he spotted Max.

"What is the matter?" Max asked looking concerned.

"My car won't start. Can you please give me the number of the nearest mechanic? I was asking nong here but he insisted on calling you." Tul said.

"Aah... Okay..." Max uttered, giving Gulf a sideways glance.

Gulf in turn gave Max a deadpan look and spoke, "Why don't you drop Khun home like yesterday boss. I will take care of the car." At the same time Gulf pulled out his mobile from his pocket and extended it towards Tul, "Khun please give me your line ID and I will update you regarding the car."

Tul looked from Gulf to Max and then back at Gulf.

Just as an uncertain Tul extended his hand to take Gulf's mobile, Gulf withdrew his hand and spoke, "I can always update boss and he can update you. I am sure he has your line."

Tul just shook his head slightly in confusion, wondering what exactly was going on.

"Boss haven't you shared your line ID with him?" Gulf asked gravely looking at Max, an almost sly smile shining in his dark eyes. "Give him your mobile."

Max had to bite his lower lip to stop the grin which was about to curve his lips at Gulf's words, as he took out his mobile and handed it to Tul. He wanted to whack Gulf and hug the youngster all at the same time.

Gulf was very perceptive, especially where Max was concerned and it didn't really surprise Max that Gulf had somehow picked up on the little wave of interest that he felt towards the handsome doctor Tul.

"I really don't think this is necessary. I don't want to cause you any trouble. I can get the car towed and call a taxi..." Tul uttered.

Before Max could say a word Gulf cut in hurriedly, "Khun it is no trouble at all. Boss was anyway planning to go home early today. It's his night off."

Max who had been about to tell Tul it was fine and he would be only too happy to help was surprised when Gulf had cut in. Max never had any specific night offs. He was the owner after all. He just took off when there was less work or he had something more important to do.

Max frowned slightly and was about to ask Gulf what he meant when Gulf piped in again, "I have already got Doctor's grocery and stuff shifted back to your car. You can leave now." The urgency in Gulf's tone was not lost on Max.

He turned to look at Gulf who had been standing sideways when his eyes fell on the group who was slowly walking towards them in the gathering darkness.

In the lead was his older brother Great closely followed by his best friend Foei and 3 ladies who were chatting away animatedly with each other while following the 2 tall men.
