Old Friends (Rexsoka)

Senator Lux Bonteri eyes her from across the room, after a moment of contemplation he begins to push through the crowd towards her.

Ahsoka Tano stands tall on the other side of the room, her men stand behind her and her Captain stands next to her wearing a crisp blue uniform and multiple metals upon his chest. Ahsoka wears a headdress of Akul teeth, a sign of strength among her people, it is accented by a string of intricate golden beads and a dress that makes Lux's mouth fall open when he sees it. It's black and sleeveless with a section of mesh around her waist. The skirt has long golden strips swirling up from its hem and sweeps the floor behind her. There is a long slit in it that reaches until her mid-thigh revealing high boots and the smooth skin of her legs. She looks like the epitome of feline grace and danger as her sharp blue eyes scan the room.

When he is halfway towards them one of the soldiers standing behind her catches his eye and frowns for a moment before leaning forward to whisper into the ear of a man he recognizes as Captain Rex. The Captain stiffens for a moment and then squares his shoulders like he's about to walk into battle. Lux is confused but continues to make his way towards her. "Ahsoka?"

She turns from the Senator of Pantora, Senator Riyo Chuchi, and smiles at him before turning back to Riyo and saying goodbye. He notes that Rex has moved closer to Ahsoka, just of her side.

"Hello Senator Bonteri." She's grown, the angles on her face are more defined and more beautiful than ever. He marvels about how soft her skin must be now and how perfect her kisses must be by now.

"It's always just Lux to you..." Her smile widens just as Rex moves away from her and she leans down so that he can-

-kiss her?

Lux feels some part of his world come crashing down on his shoulders, the part that has always waited for her. He carefully keeps his smile in place as Rex steps away from Ahsoka, just leaving one little mark of affection and love to show him how things have changed, and with that single kiss, Lux changes his life goals.

"I thought you might be able to introduce me to other people?" And she smiles, it's warm and genuine, just like the Ahsoka he remembers.

"I'll be glad to help an old friend out," Lux swears he sees Rex smile out of the corner of his eye.
