Karl looked at his phone. He looked at the text messages displayed on his screen.

Out buying groceries I'll be back around 9:30.

More time for me, and Karl to cuddle without you.

Oh shut up, I'll make sure to cuddle both of you until you're dead.

Karl
We can all cuddle once Nick gets home.

Just answer my calls please, I'm worried.

Karl
That's it, I'm coming to find you two.

He would never forget the phone call he got after that. He hugged himself turning off his phone as he heard footsteps. He looked up to see the nurse.

She had a worried expression on his face. "Are you Mr.Jacobs sir?" She asked. He nodded slowly wiping tears from his eyes. She took a deep breath. "I...really hate to inform you but your fiancés didn't make it. They lost too much blood from being shot."

Karl's eyes widened as they filled with tears. "W..what..?" He looked down tears falling down his face. "You can see both of them before we have to take them off the beds.." The nurse said softly.

Karl nodded quickly. The nurse walked him to the room opening the door. Karl looked at his fiancés.

He walked over slowly looking at their faces. He gently took both of their hands looking at them. He didn't dare take the rings off of their hands.

He started sobbing as he let go of their hands hugging himself tightly. It would never be the same without them.

The nurse walked over. "Would you like me to call a drive for you?" She offered. He shook his head as he wiped his tears. It was useless though. He looked at his fiancés. "J..just give me a..a couple moments..." he said.

She nodded walking out of the room. Karl looked back at Nick, and Alex. He could feel more tears fill his eyes as he fell on his knees starting to sob more.

Karl was now being driven home by Jimmy. Chris was sitting in the back with him trying to comfort him.

The whole ride was quiet. When they got to the house that's when Jimmy spoke up, "Are you sure you don't wanna stay at someone else's house Karl? It might be hard staying in your home without them..."

Karl only nodded his head wiping his tears more. "T..thanks for the ride.." he muttered softly as he got out of the car. He watched the car drive off as he opened the door slowly.

He closed it, and he just looked at his phone. He threw it across the room. It hit a picture of the three that fell off the wall shattering. His eyes widened.

He went over quickly trying to fix it. He felt more tears forming in his eyes. He gave it up. He just slouched against the wall starting to cry again.

They were gone.

He was alone.

He had no one to love him like Alex, and Nick did.

He had no one to love as much as he loved Alex, and Nick.

He wanted his panda, and duck back...

At the grocery store there was a man with a gun. Nick got killed at the grocery store, and Alex got killed when he accidentally bumped into the man when going to the store.
