Chase POV:

Chase: Um, excuse me? Are you okay?

A girl was sitting, with her legs crossed, staring in at the banquet. She had a sketch book in her lap and a coffee next to her.

Lydia: Who me? Oh I'm perfectly fine. Just working on some sketches.

I sat down next to her.

Chase: What are you sketching?

Lydia: Just some dresses. I sew, and well big events like these are bound to give me some inspiration.

Chase: Why don't you just go in? Or ask them where to get the dresses?

Lydia: First of all, you need an invite to something like this and a Brooklyn girl like me is never gonna get on that list. Second of all, even if I did get on that list it's not like I can afford a designer dress like them.

Chase: oh.

Lydia: It's fine. I actually enjoy it. The sketching, the sewing, all of it! But enough about me, I haven't seen you around before. Where are you from?

Chase: Me and my family moved here from Charleston. My Dad got a job as a director for a big movie so he of course took it and here we are. Hey see that girl, the one with the white lace dress? That's my sister.

Lydia: She's stunning.

She tucked some hair behind her ear and started to sketch out Everly's dress.

Chase: Hey I never got you name?

Lydia: Lydia.

Chase: It's beautiful.

Lydia: What about you?

Chase: Chase.

Then Lydia gets a phone call.

Lydia: I'm so sorry I have to go! I'll be seeing ya, chase.

I took one last look into her beautiful and deep eyes.

Chase: I'll be seeing ya, Lydia.

Authors note: OML!! MY FAV CHAPTER FOR SURE. Chase is just so perfect and Lydia has such a kind heart <3 best friendship
