Chapter 12 -- For that moment, everything was perfect.

At school - Few days after last chapter - lunch break ( the boys and girls mix for breaks )

Bianca POV

Bianca: And then I said 'You have to be mean to be queen'.

Henry: Hey hows my girl?

He sat down next to me and gave me a big squeeze.

Bianca: Never been better!

Henry: Hey no Everly again today?

Chanel: No! No ones heard from her still?

Everyone answers no. To be honest I'm glad she hasn't been here. I got the vibe she was zeroing in on my man. Who the hell does she think she is? I'm Bianca Dupont! Any man would be lucky to have me!

Henry: I'm a bit worried about her. What if somethings wrong? Wait theres her brother! Chase!

Chase:  Um hey. It's Henry, right?

Henry: Yeah! Look is Ev ok? She hasn't been to school in like 4 days!

Chase: Oh she didn't tell you guys?

Chanel: Tell us what?!

Claudia: Spill the teaaa!!!

Chase: She broke up with her boyfriend. 

He walked over to a blonde girl. She was definitly a freshmen. Hmm. She's got potential.

Henry: Ok I'm gonna ditch 3rd period. 

Bianca: Great! Where are we going? Frozen yogurt out the front of the MET or a stroll to feed the ducks in Central?

Henry: Actually I'm gonna go check on Everly, you guys go to class, I got this covered.

Bianca: Oh ok. Well you better get a head start.

Henry picks up his stuff and exits the courtyard. Next thing I knew Paris was walking past my table and I had stuck my leg out to trip her over.

Bianca: oops.

Paris: What the hell Bianca!? You could've tripped me over!

Bianca: Let me file that under, hm, I don't care?

Paris: Honestly Bianca? What are we 12!?

Bianca: I don't know you tell me. You're the one who ran off for 3 months without telling anyone! 

Paris tried to say something but the words wouldn't leave her mouth.

Bianca: Come on girls. She isn't worth our time.

Knocking on Everly's door - Supposed to be at school - Same day

Henry POV

Henry: Ev? You in there? Please let me in! 

Everly: Who... who is it?

Henry: It's me. Henry.

She opened the door and wiped the tears from her face. 

Henry: Hey... I was really worried about you are you ok?

Everly gestures for me to come inside. She leads me into her bedroom and directs me to sit on her bed.

Everly: I'm sorry. I know I should have called to let you know I'm ok.

Henry: No! You don't owe me an apology. I just was wondering where my friend had been.

Everly: I just haven't felt up to going to school.

Henry: Why?

Everly: Remember the boy back home I told you about?

I nodded.

Everly: And my best friend, Connie?

Henry: Where are you going with this?

Everly: They were having a relationship behind my back.

Henry: Oh.

Everly: It's ok. I don't want to talk about it. 

Henry: Well, um, now that I've seen that you're alive, I guess I should go.

Everly: You don't have to. You can stay and watch sad movies with me. I mean if you want.

Henry: I'd really like that. 

She loaded up Netflix and we started watching. I stayed there for around 4 hours. It was nice. Really nice, she even fell asleep on me! It felt like we were the only 2 people in the world. For that moment, when everything was still and quiet, everything was perfect.
