Having finally found Raven having a spa day with some creatures the trip home was uneventful and everyone quickly pulled off to their rooms to rest. It was almost instinct to follow Raven to her room and she didn't object as I placed my mask and cape on the sofa.
"What happened whilst you were up there then? A lot of emotions were coming through that bond," She asked at last as she hung up her cloak and I removed my gloves.
"Various attacks, planning for finding you all and our survival, trying to work with Star to get us out of some sticky situations and making the permanent situation worse-"
"That will be what the guilt was then," She said as placed her boots in her cupboard and mine took the spot next to them, "You know you'll have to say something eventually, you can't lead her on forever."
"I know, but I needed to then and it's making everything worse," I explained, "I don't know what to do. I could just pretend everything's the same, but it's clearly not anymore."
"You could always just let her see you coming out of my room," She suggested, "I think that would at least get her thinking about it."
"Maybe," I replied, "But for now it's time for sleep, and I'm sure you're feeling very relaxed after that treatment up there."
"I can think of ways it could have been better," She smirked as she picked up her nightclothes and headed towards the bathroom to change, "Goodnight, Dick."
"Goodnight, Rae," And she closed the door.

The next morning was the same as always, breakfast for the team, training, sending in for more equipment to work on repairs to anything that was destroyed. Starfire didn't bring up the trip and I didn't either, so that was that. However I did get dragged out of my chores around 11 for an hour to play hoops with Cy, which was good cause I needed something to stop me getting so bored. Yes, I could do all the admin but by god was it long and having to top it up everyday cause noone else did. Sometimes I wonder why more villains didn't just do what Brother Blood did and control me to destroy the team. I mean, Slade tried it but that was a different matter altogether. But considering which one had psychic powers the success was a direct opposite. After beating Cyborg at hoops it was back to admin for a bit before more training and then ending the evening back in Raven's room, this time making sure Star saw that I entered. Give her time to think about it without interruption, at least not from the team.

The next morning the admin was a lot quicker since we hadn't been offworld and I didn't need a space station repairing . But it was going to be more exciting apprantley as Cyborg came running into the room whilst the rest of us were sat talking on the sofa, a movie playing absently in the background.
"It's here! It's here!"
"What's here?" Cause I know I didn't see any orders on the group card arriving here today.
"My super new, super fast, super powerful maximum seven" He explained as someone wheeled in a greatly oversized box, better check security cameras to make sure they didn't do anything untoward later.
"Please, what is a maximum seven?" Star asked as I flicked off the T.V and we all came around from the sofa to see better.
I answered the question whilst Cy was busy being in love with his purchase, "It's a new computer processor, 8 times faster than the maximum six," Which is what we had installed in our systems at the moment, but I hadn't planned on changing over just yet, "So, I guess we're upgrading the Titans computer?"
"No, we're upgrading me," Cyborg replied, "With the new maximum seven I'll be able to do more, see more and get more out of life then ever."
"Dude, you actually want to do more stuff? My goal in life is maximum couch time," Trust Beast Boy to want to only lounge about but I don't blame him sometimes.
"I understand wanting to live life to it's fullest but putting a chip in your brain?" I asked, it was new, he couldn't have had much time to think it over, plus how would the human side of him react to it? Would half of him be exhausted whilst the other half ran at double speed?
"My heads already full of chips," He replied, "And I ran a complete diagnostic before I ordered it. The Max seven is fully compatible with all my systems. Totally safe."
He didn't wait any longer before he cracked open the box and the chip was inside, along with at least 10 manuals which explained the size of the box. The chip itself was red and black in design and extremely thin, small and lightweight. Perfect design I'd say.
"Yeah, looks safe," Raven being skeptical, but sometimes that's just what you need.
"Time to boot this baby up," Cy said as he took the box and headed back to it's room with the contents of the box.
"Aw man, he better still have time to play video games," BB moped as he sat back down and restarted the movie.
Probably not today Beast Boy, not with the amount of reading he'd have to get through first.
"You think he'll actually read all that?" Rae asked as the rest of us moved back to the sofa.
"It is in tech lingo and he does like tech," I replied, "And he must posses at least half an ounce of common sense."
