It's been weird the past couple of days. We've only been back at Hogwarts for three days but we keep getting funny looks from people. Every time Harry and I walk in the hallways, or go into the common room, or even eat at the lunch table, people are staring at us. We figured it was because of Fudge. Since he's denying any evidence to say that The Dark Lord is back.

Harry and I walked into the common room after class. We had been on our feet all day and wanted to just lay in bed and cuddle for a while. We opened the door and immediately everyone turned their eyes to look at us. Normally it's just a few people so it's easier to ignore but this time, everyone was staring.

We walked through the crowd of people awkwardly and saw Dean and Seamus sat with a few other Gryffindors in the main couch area of the common room. Seamus stood up, slamming the new daily profit on the table.

For goodness sake.

"Me mam didn't want me to come back this year," he bickered and I rolled my eyes, folding my arms.

"Why not?" Harry asked.

"Erm - let me see, because of you two."

I grumbled and grabbed Harry's hand bringing him up to the stairs but Seamus spoke again.

"The daily profits been saying a lot of things about you two. About Dumbledore as well."

"What and your mum believes them?" I argued back.

"Well no one else was there the night Cedric died."

"There were lots of people there, Harry, Me, Cedric and my brother."

"Your brother was already dead, he has been for eight years, get over it."

"Well you should read the profit then like your stupid mother it'll tell you everything you need to know," Harry argued on my behalf, raising his voice a lot.

"Don't you dare talk about my mother like that!"

"I'll have a go at anyone who calls us liars."

Then Ron showed up with Hermione and came running up to us.

"What's going on?" Ron asked.

"There both mad is what's going on. Do you believe the rubbish they're coming out with about You-Know-Who and Nathan Bennet?"

"Yeah I do," Ron argued, "has anyone else got a problem with Harry or Lizzie?"

No one answered and I ran upstairs to the girls dorms, Hermione following me.

I took off my robe, throwing it on the bed in anger unbuttoned the top button of my shirt.

"Are you okay Liz?" Hermione asked me cautiously.

"I'm fine."

I rolled up my sleeves and untucked my shirt and jumper from my skirt.

"I believe you, you know-"

"I said I'm fine 'Mione," I yelled, cutting her off.

She stepped back a little from my sudden outburst and I immediately felt tears forming in my eyes.

"I'm sorry," I apologised, "I just..."

I sighed, grumbling a little and sat down in my bed, running my fingers through my hair.

"Its okay Lizzie," she smiled, sitting down next to me.

"I lost my brother when I was six years old," I whispered, tears on the verge of falling, "I lost my mum when I was 13 and my dads been sent to a mental hospital."
