Hermione's POV:

It was late at night, an hour after bedtime for everyone. As I was Head Girl with the prefects I had to roam the corridors to make sure noone was out of bed. I was walking with Neville, who became the Head Boy. At first I was surprised about McGonagall's decision, but I wasn't here last year. Ginny said that Neville helped as many students as he could, making sure they were safe. To be honest, he is perfect for this position, he improved a lot in his studies too and he truly cared about others. Our wands provided us enough light to see where we were going, but other than that the castle was dark and silent. I knew some of the prefects were walking through other parts of the building. We were near the Ravenclaw common room when we heard a sound.

"Nox" both of us whispered.

I saw a blonde haired girl come out of the Ravenclaw tower, running down the stairs. We followed her, when we saw her completely in the Great Hall I realised it was Annabeth. She stopped for a moment before running out the giant door leading to the grounds. She must have used magic to open it because it was supposed to be locked. We ran after her, when we caught up to her she was already at the lake, sitting down at the shore, leaning over it. I looked at Neville, he looked confused, but we heard the door to the castle open and close again. Sommeone else was coming. We hid behind the greenhouses. I saw a black haired boy running towards Annabeth. What the hell is Harry doing here? He sat the next to Annabeth and she hugged him, I heard sobs, she was crying. I didn't know what to do, but Neville was faster. He slowly approched the two and I followed him. When they heard someoe was coming the immediately jumped up, turning around. It was Percy, not Harry.

"You are supposed to be in bed." Neville said.

Annabeth looked down at her shoes.

"I just had a nightmare and I needed some fresh air." Annabeth whispered.

"And you Percy?"

"Same here..." he said.

Yeah, because we are going to believe this... Annabeth actually looked like she was through some stuff, she migh have had a nightmare but it is quite hard to believe Percy had a nightmare too.

"We need to talk to McGonagall." I said.

The two of them nodded and followed us back to the castle. McGonagall is usually still awake until the pr fects and us have to finish monitoring the corridors. Whe was still awake in her office when I knocked.

"Professor McGonagall we found Percy and Annabeth outside near the lake." Neville spoke.

"I just had a nightmare about Ta... about the thing, I needed some fresh air." Annabeth muttered.

McGonagall looked at her red cheeks, she looked worried.

"And you Percy?" she asked him.

"Annabeth needed me in ordedr to calm down." he simply said.

"How did you now where she was?" McGonagall asked, the she smiled "Ah, she went to the lake."

I found their interaction a bit strane and confusing. Why did Percy lie to us, when he told the truth to McGonagall without hesitation? How did he know that Annabeth needed him, what do they hide? What does McGonagall know about? She obviously knew what the thing was Annabeth had a nightmare about and she obviously knew how they communicated. McGonagall let us go, and it was time for me and Neville to go back the common rooms to and get some sleep. Before that we made sure that Percy and Annabeth went back their rooms too. I was walking upt the stairs to the Ravenclaw dorms with Annabeth, when we arrived at the door found Lun there.

"Did I wake you up again?" Annabeth asked.

"No, it was the nargles and I saw that your bed was empty and I knew you would come back soon, so I waited for you." Luna smiled.
