KYRAS POV
I sat on the couch. It started raining suddenly... I walked up to the window and put my head down.
"What's wrong?" I heard Prince behind me. I jumped a little.
"Vantè." I answered softly.
"What about him? He's dead."
"Exactly. Carlos always said that when someone dies.....it rains either after the day they die or the day of or after their funeral...it means that God is washing their footprints off of the earth...its never failed." I looked back out of the window. Prince stood there in silence for 5 seconds.
"Don't worry about him. You're safe here." I heard the falseness in his tone.
"We're not. They're gonna find us. We'll never stop moving." I sighed and sat on the couch.
"No. Don't say that." I felt him touch my shoulder. I looked at him. "Uh...um." He nervously removed his hand. He smiled a fake smile.
"You cheated on Just Dance. I deserve to pick a song that you don't know. I'm gonna let it choose by random." He walked in front of the Kinect and chose the "random select" choice. It chose a Hispanic song that was a duet. Ballenando? Sumn like that.
We looked at each other for a split second before I turned my attention to my nails and he chose another song.
"Me and my broken heart?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. Before I could pick my character, I heard a voice behind us.
"Sorry to interrupt but while she is here I could be testing her to find out what she is." The Marshall stood in the hallway. I hesitated at first, but then convinced myself to go with him.
When I felt out of place or watched, I would hold onto my necklace and play with the infinity sign. I reached for it, but nothing but my skin was there. I looked back at Prince before following the Marshall into a lab.

He ended up performing various tests on me and proving I was a vampkitsune. It was official.
I sighed and hopped off of the platform I was on. I walked into the living room. Prince gave me something. He put it in my hand and walked past me.
I opened my hand to find my infinity necklace those dickheads broke. I looked back, but by that time, he was gone. I put the necklace on and adjusted it.
"Come, child. I was not finished. You need to learn how to use your abilities...you need to know how to protect yourself when you're alone." I heard the Marshall say. I got up from the couch and drug myself back to his lab.
"You need to learn how to use all but your 5 senses. If those boys get their hands on you, there's no telling what they'll do. They're stronger. Faster. Ruthless. You need to learn how to fight. How to use your powers to the best of your abilities. For I do fear one day my boys won't be watching and you will be captured and tortured. Along with Princeton." He walked around me in circles slowly.
I giggled a little.
"What is do funny about facing death as a consequence of one tiny slip up?" He paused and stroked his beard.
"Nothing. This just sounds like some kung fu or Harry Potter type shit." I tried to contain myself from laughing.
"Focus!" He yelled at me.
"Okay okay." I folded my arms. He was walking around in circles, but this time he went around and I didn't see him anymore.
I was about to turn around when I felt a hand come across my mouth and I was being dragged. I kicked punched, and even bit his hand. He wouldn't let go. Then, he dropped me to the floor and walked in front of me.
