"Wait." I groaned, stopping in my tracks. I heard a strange noise.
"What are you-"
"Shut up!" I cut Roc off, listening hard. I heard a quiet crunch of leaves outside.
"What the hell, man." Roc rolled his eyes.
"We gotta get outta here. Now." I panicked.
"Kyra, calm down-" Prince tried to reassure me.
"NO! Don't you understand? This means war. Whether that bug was a tracking device, or a recorder, or both, they know where we are. Think about it. If its a tracking device, they can shoot us up any second. If its a recorder, they heard the whole fucking plan, plus Lord Marshall's voice. We are fucked."
"They know that it's gonna take you to lure Prince. Either way, you're gonna be taken. So. You wanna go willingly or run until you get caught?" The Marshall asked.
"The hell you mean 'go willingly'?!"
"Stay here and wait until they come."
"Only if we have a foolproof plan and I get to go home after-"
I was cut off by a gunshot.
"EVERYONE GET OUT!" The Marshall yelled. Everyone took off towards the back door. Being that they knew how to use their powers, they dusted me. I couldn't even see them anymore. I continued to look around me.
"PRINCE!" I yelled, getting scared. "JACOB!" I called. I knew he hated that name, so I know he had to hear me. Nobody came.
I turned around to find the doorknob to the back door turn. I jumped to hide behind a tree when I was hit with pressure. I closed my eyes from the impact.
When I opened them, I didn't see the mansion anymore. I just saw things. Trees. Houses. Cars. People. Zooming by. I looked up to see Prince, the only thing I could see, while everything else zipped past us.
I closed my eyes and let the gust of wind hit my back, lying my head on his chest.
30 seconds later, we stopped. I heard the rest of the boys and opened my eyes. Prince put me down and I took time to observe my surroundings.
A beach. A beautiful deserted beach, along with a mansion in front of it.
"Yeah, forgot we need to teach you how to run." Roc panted.
"Y'all dusted my ass. If Prince would've shown up as much as a millisecond later, I would've been dead." I crossed my arms.
"Yeah, but you're here and alive, and that's all that matters." Mike said as he started to walk into the house.
"Is this that house you were talkin about?" I asked Roc, looking at the house.
"Yeah. We'll get our stuff later." He siffly walked into the house.
I looked back at Prince. He was bent over, due to the fact he had to go there, come back, then go again.
I grabbed onto his left bicep and walked with him into the house.
The inside was beautiful(side pic). We were the last ones to begin to walk in. I couldn't help but feel guilty.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled.
"Its not your fault. We should've taught you. We'll be able to teach you more things out in this vast, open area." He breathed heavily.
"I uhm....I was....I was heavy, wasn't I?" I gave an insecure chuckle.
"No. You're actually pretty light to have blood in you." He lightly smiled.
We made it inside and saw a huge living room. I looked around in amazement.
