Wisteria🌿(Zenitsu x Nezuko)

Chapter~14

Nezuko POV-

I never knew a few months would pass by this quickly. It was now already winter break.  We didn't really have much planned for break at the Estate, so I'm going to treat it as some free time to spend with Zenitsu-kun.

After saying my goodbyes to all of my teachers and peers, I go to my locker and grab all of my belongings. Right after I finish packing everything up, Tanjiro comes right by to me accompanied by Inosuke and Zenitsu-kun. To my surprise, I also see Kanao-San standing right beside my brother.

"You're okay with Kanao coming to the estate with us right Nezuko?" Tanjiro asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine with your girlfriend walking home with us!" I slyly state, which causes nii-san's face to erupt into a bright crimson hue. Kanao's face lit up in a matter of seconds with a thick layer of blush masking her features.

We all chuckle at their burning faces as we begin to walk back to the estate.

Once we all arrive home from school, Aoi-san greets us with some freshly-made mochi.

"You made all of this Maoi? I'm impressed!" Inosuke cackles as he grabs a big ball of mochi.

"Wash your hands before you eat Inosuke!" Aoi-san nags, slapping the mochi out of Inosuke's hand.

"DAMN YOU KOI I WAS JUST ABOUT TO DIG IN!!!" Inosuke whines, throwing a small temper tantrum similar to how a little kid would. I swear he really does act like a disobedient child sometimes...

Inosuke POV-

"Why are you getting all whiny with me?!" Maoi nags, now rolling her eyes. She then proceeds to punch the top of my head, which is a rude act to do towards King Inosuke!

"You wanna fight Koi?!" I shout, now pumping my hands into two fists. She doesn't know what she's getting into...

"Can you two stop arguing?! Have you forgotten that Kanao is with us today?!" Konjiro scolds as he hastily separates us.

"Oh?! So now we can't be ourselves because your girlfriend is over?!" I protest, trying to break free of Gonapachiro's grip to lunge towards Koi. After my statement, I could see Kanjiro's face begin to light up in a crimson hue. He quickly let go of my wrists to cover his now flustered face and I took the opportunity to barrel into Yaoi.

Um..... let's just say your King Inosuke ended up in an awkward position...

Zenitsu POV-

I couldn't believe he did it... Inosuke you madlad...

Right after Inosuke made his offensive assault on Aoi, he ended up losing control of his actions and ended up right ontop of Aoi. Of course, his hand ended up grabbing... you know...

I took a peek at Inosuke's face and saw a confused but extremely flustered expression covering his face while Aoi looked like she had just experienced a system malfunction. This did not last very long as Aoi shoves Inosuke off her, sending the our wild boar flying. He makes an abrupt crash onto the ground, nearly hitting Kanao.

I could tell that made Tanjiro pretty mad. Haha, it really made him mad.

"EVERYONE GO UPSTAIRS NOW!!!!!!!!" Tanjiro roars in rage. Even Inosuke was shaken up by the anger shown in Tanjiro's voice. I quickly grab Nezuko-chan's hand and we both run up to our room. I don't know about the others but I'm assuming they went upstairs like us.

"Well that's one way to start off winter break," Nezuko-chan chuckles.

"Yeah... A pretty wild way to start off break," I add as I head over to Chuntaro's cage. I could tell that he was sleeping by his soft breaths and long intervals between them. After I close his cage, I feel a pair of arms slither between my arms.

"What do you want to do Zenitsu-kun?" Nezuko-chan asks, her face now starting to give off a red tint. She buries her head into the back of my right shoulder as we just stand there, enjoying every second of silence.

"Chun! Chun!" Chuntaro of course loudly chirps, startling me and Nezuko-chan enough to break our tight grip we had on each other.

"Hey Nezuko-chan, wanna go spy on Tanjiro and Kanao?" I ask, seeing a smile dart up on my girlfriends face.

My girlfriend...

Just me thinking about us dating makes me all warm and flustered.

Nezuko-chan nods in agreement to my previous statement and we begin to lightly walk towards the stairs. I hear Nezuko-chan take a flat footed step and she loses her footing on the ground. I quickly grab her waist and scoop her into my arms. We begin to stare into each-others eyes as I get lost in her beautiful pink orbs. I just love everything about her. It's hard for me to express in words how much I adore this woman.

Is this what Gramps meant by love?

"T-Tanjiro... I l-like you!"

Tanjiro POV-

"S-So Kanao... Sorry about them they get a little crazy sometimes," I sigh, hoping that she wouldn't think we were weird.

"N-No it's fine Tanjiro-kun..."

Did she just say Tanjiro-kun????

"Kun?" I ask, now slightly flustered.

"A-Ahhh!!! Sorry! I didn't mean to say 'kun' after your name!" She explains as she tries cover up her beet red face. We stand in silence for a few minutes.

"H-Hey Kanao, do you want a drink or anything?"

"S-sure!" She responds. I then walk over to the fridge and grab two green tea's.

I hand one of the bottles to Kanao and I take a sip of the refreshing, cold tea. I could tell Kanao was having trouble opening the bottle so I offered to help.

"Need any help?" I ask.

"N-No thank you T-Tanjiro-kun," she stammers. She said kun after my name again.

"Hey Kanao, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" She responds after finally opening her bottle of green tea.

"Is there a reason why you call me Tanjiro-kun?"

After I say that, her face becomes beet red. She plays with her fingers, twirling the in a circular motion like how Hinata did when she saw Naruto.

Was she nervous around me? Am I making her uncomfortable?

After a few minutes of silence, Kanao finally breaks the awkward tension between us.

"T-Tanjiro-kun... I like you!"

Haha did I forget to mention she said that.

W-WAIT WHAT???!??!??!? Kanao Tsuyuri, out of all people, likes me?????!!!

I must be dreaming haha.
