A lifetime without love

Tims idea

Tim and Elizabeth head out of the room into the living room.
"I'm sorry you guys." I say.
"It's okay mom." Kenny says.
I look at the boys sitting on the couch.
"Do you want to introduce Luke to your friends upstairs?" I ask Kenny.
He looks confused at first but plays it off.
"Oh yeah! Come on Luke!"
I watch them head up stairs and look at Tim.
"Hey why don't we do something fun? We can get our minds off of everything" Tim says.
"Like what?" I ask.
"Maybe go to the lake nearby."
"Okay. After Cameron gets home we can tell the boys."
"Plus since it's Friday maybe we can get a cabin down there and stay for awhile?"
"Haha okay that sounds great can you get a cabin and I'll start packing."
"Sure." He says.
I head to my room and pack my bags. Then I remember that Kenny can't be in the sun.
'Damn it.' I curse.
'Wait! I can't believe I forgot about that extra ring the witch gave me.' I open my jewelry box and grab the ring.
'I can give this to Kenny tonight.'
