chapter 2

Yours and Sasha's room is right next to Erens and Connie's so they both walk with you. You get to your rooms and see all the cleaning equipment placed outside your doors. You pick up your cleaning things and place them inside your room. You huff and place your hands on your hips.
"This is gonna take a while.." you say to sasha.
"Agreed." She sighs.
You both put on your sanitary head scarfs and aprons. You're better at cleaning bathrooms so you go straight onto that whilst Sasha starts to clean the room.

You didn't mind cleaning, but it definitely wasn't your favourite thing to do.  But you'd rather clean that argue with Captain Ackerman, so you pick up your spray and spoke and get cleaning.

20 minutes into cleaning

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" you hear sasha scream. You whip yourself around and run towards the door, opening it.
"Hey what's up?! Why are you sc-" then you see.
"Look..." Sasha holds up a damn potato like its some sortie diamond, her eyes glistening at the view.
"You're seriously not gonna eat that right? Who knows how long that's been there." You scoff.
"A potato is a potato." She says smiling, wiping it with a cloth then taking a large chunk out of it with her teeth.
"A little cold...but still *chef kiss*" she manages to get out as her stuffs it into her mouth whilst you shake your head laughing.
"I've just finished cleaning the bathroom so I'll help you in here." You plead.

Another 20 minutes later

"Hey y/n, wasn't you looking for this?" She gets hold of a ring that fell under the draws. You widen your eyes.
"I have, thanks sasha." You say with a wide smile on your face.

The ring was originally your mothers. Your father gave it to your mother when they first met as a 'lucky charm'. And the ring was completely the opposite actually.
Before you joined survey corps, you lived with your parents. You'd been thinking of joining the survey corps though. You and your parents were all talking together until you heard a huge rumble. You all were confused so you told them to wait there and you walked outside. You saw a large gathering of people from afar and went over there.

A titan. But not a normal one.

It looked at all the small humans over the wall and started to rip the wall apart, piece by piece. Everyone was running around like a maniac, but you stood there. You felt yourself go weak. But you composed yourself when you saw a river of titans rapidly flow in from the walls and roam around the whole town. You ran as fast as you could since the titans were spreading fast. You could see houses being destroyed in the distance.

Your parents.

You remembered that they were still in the house and sprinted towards the house.

It was too late.

Your father was nowhere to be seen but you saw your mother in the titans grip. (Sounds familiar oop-)
Your face dropped as the titan threw your mother in its filthy mouth.
"YOU DICK!" You screamed. You saw your mothers ring glisten in the sunlight and you picked it up, slipping it onto your finger. You looked around and saw two swords that had been dropped. You pick them up frantically and joisted yourself onto a nearby roof. You'd seen the survey corps and military police fight before so you knew a few things about titans. You jumped from roof to roof around the titan till you was above the titan from behind. You launched yourself at the titan and sliced a large piece off its neck straight off.
"Damn-" you thought as the titan started to fall. You felt a strong arm wrap around your waist and moments later you was being held through the air.

It was levi ackerman.

He gripped onto you tightly.
"You shouldn't be fighting. But good job." He muttered to you as you went soaring through the air with him controlling the 3d maneuver gear.
"Thank you sir." You said as he placed you down onto the floor.
"Stay here, you'll be safe He
Said, before leaving again to fight the titans.

"Wow..." you thought, you had idolised levi when you first saw him fight. You looked down at your ring, fiddling with it. You felt a tear roll down your face, then another, and another.

End of flashback.

You placed ring onto your finger, gripping it tightly. But you snapped out of your thoughts and carried on cleaning.
"Well I think that's us done!" Sasha says jumping into the air.
"Let's see how Eren and Connie are doing. They're probably crying at the thought of cleaning." You said, causing you both to laugh as you walked out.
