Chapter 7

"Y/n.....y/n....please wake up..." you hear the soft whimpers from above you as you slowly open your eyes. You see Eren standing over you.
"Oh, hey Eren. What's up?" You ask him as you sit up, rubbing your eyes as the moonlight shone on your face.
"Don't make fun of me or anything but...I had...let's say a really bad nightmare and I can't stay in my room." Eren shyly confesses. You look at him smiling and pat the space next to you, signalling him to sit down. You lift up the blanket and then wrap it over him as he leans his back on the headboard. You shuffle over to him and comfort him.
"So, what was the dream about?" You whisper. You rest your head on his shoulder, with him lying his head on yours as you both gaze out the large window.
"Well um...my mother. And father. I had a nightmare about what happened to them. Then had another one of loosing...you." You smile and cuddle into his chest. "That's why I had to come and see you."

"Just remember Eren...you'll never lose me. I'll be here with you always.
He blushed at your sweet words. He looked down at your glowing face as you looked up at his. You looked at his shining emerald eyes, then down at his lips. You held the back of his head gently and pulled him towards you, your lips connecting. Eren was shocked for a second but soon melted into it. He tilted your head to deepen the kiss, but it wasn't a sexual feeling you both felt. It was a more loving and passionate kiss. You both eventually break away and you hug him.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you earlier." You mumbled into his ear. "I couldn't sleep, you was on my mind..."
"You're too adorable sometimes." He smiles. You both lay down, puffing up your pillows as you stare at the gorgeous view.
"So what happened when you met up with the captain?" Eren curiously asks.
"Oh, he gave me a week more of work than you guys. Not that big of a deal." You sighed. Eren ruffled your hair and started to play with it.
"I'll help you, since it's my fault you're in trouble." You smile at his kind gesture. Eren continued to stroke your head lovingly as you started to doze off, asking him one last question.

"Eren..."

"Yes?"

".....what are we?"

"Whatever you want us to be."

"Well um...I really do think...um.."

"Think what, doll face?"

"I love you."

Eren had waited for you to say that for years. His dream has finally come true.

"What do you think..?"You ask.

"I loved you ever since you joined, but I've always been to scared to say. It broke my heart when you said you had feelings for the captain. That's why I wanted to get into trouble for what I did instead of you. I couldn't bare the thought of you and the captain alone in his office. Do you...still like Levi?" Eren asked you, unsure of your answer.

"No. I love you. The captain was just a little crush I've had. You on the other hand...well...I thought you was amazing. That's why I befriend you so quick, I wanted to get to know you better...babydick." You giggled a bit as he patted your head.

"Get some sleep doll face, it's 1am." Eren started to get up but you pulled him back down.
"Sasha never wakes up earlier than me, so she won't know you was here. Please stay." You beg. Eren nods and lays back down, untying his man-bun. He lays down a little lower than you, so he can lay his head on your chest whilst you hug him. Eren drifts off to sleep, listening to your heartbeat, making his go the same rate as yours. You smile at Eren's peaceful sleeping face, glowing from the moonlight.
"Goodnight...my love." You whispered, closing your eyes, before sleeping into a black abyss.
