it had taken ten a while to calm down.

johnny wasn't really sure how to comfort the younger boy, so he simply held him in a tight hug, promising ten that he wouldn't let go until the thai boy wanted him too.

it had been about 5 minutes since ten finally stopped crying. silence was the only thing found in the room other than the two boys embracing each other.

ten's head was leaning against johnny's chest and johnny rested his chin on top of ten's hair. johnny's strong arms where wrapped comfortingly around the small boy's waist. ten hadn't felt this safe in a very long time. he had synced his breath with taller's which relaxed him.

ten pushed johnny away lightly to face him. the taller boy loosened his grip on ten but didn't completely let go.

"are you okay? uh, argh- okay that was a stupid question. umm, what i meant to say was, do you feel better? i mean obviously you aren't okay, i'm an idi-" ten's soft chuckle cut johnny's words off. the smaller's boys laugh was beautiful. it left johnny breathless.

"thank you chicago. i feel a lot better." ten said, smiling up at johnny. "we should probably sleep soon though."

"oh yeah, wow. i uh, i didn't even realize the time," johnny said, staring at the clock that read '12:49am'. "you can take my bed, ill bring a blanket out and sleep on the couch, sound okay?"

ten only bit his lip and looked down. johnny noticed and frowned, "is something wrong?"

"oh no, its uh, i-it's n-nothing."

"ten, somethings wrong. you don't have to be embarrassed, you can tell me."

ten looked up into johnny's pleading eyes and sighed before quietly responding,

"i-i don't want to sleep alone."
