ten woke up to a small beam of the morning sun across his face. as he registered the feeling of a strong arm wrapped around his waist and a hard chest pressed against his back he widened his eyes.

ten was in johnny's bed.

no, ten was in johnny's arms.

tears began form in the corner of his eyes as his brain slowly attacked him. it was too quiet this early in the morning. ten had nothing to distract himself with as he slowly unwrapped himself from johnny's arms and sat on the side of the bed.

'ten, what are you thinking?

he hates you now. you know that, right?

you have been nothing but a burden to him.

johnny was living a perfectly normal and happy life until you walked into it.

god, you're so pathetic.

you should continue the walk ten, get to your destination.

that's the only way johnny can be happy.

leave ten, he already hates you. don't make him keep up this act.'

ten was now pulling at is black hair, tears falling steadily down his face. he was careful to not make a single sound as he got up and walked to the bathroom to change back to his clothes.

he hurried to the front door once he had put away johnny's clothes. as he reached for the door handle he wondered if he should leave johnny a note, thank him maybe?

'ten, he doesn't want to hear from you. just leave. don't make him look at you or anything to do with you ever again.'

and with that, ten opened the door and ran back to the trail. only then did he calm down. he would reach his destination by the end of the day.

he missed feeling the safety of johnny's arms, but at the very least he could feel calm.

he could already imagine the moment when he would arrive at that destination.

the moment he would finally have peace.

forever.
