Who the hell are you?!

The next day, Ethan woke up feeling like his head was full of bees. So many questions buzzing around in his head; he could hardly focus as he rinsed his face with water from the cauldron. Shaking his head vigorously, Ethan took deep breaths to calm his mind. One thing at a time, he reminded himself. But still, he couldn't help but marvel at the possibility that maybe he and Sam weren't alone in this world. Maybe there were other people they could meet! Maybe--

But then the image of the beaten, bloodied boy Ethan had come across yesterday came to the forefront unbidden. It was a grim reminder: If there were other people out there like Sam and himself, not all of them were good people. Certainly not someone who would beat a child to near-death.
You're losing focus again, Ethan told himself. First thing's first. Let's go and check on the kid, see if he's doing any better. We'll see what happens next. And with that, he grabbed a piece of bread from the food chest and climbed down from the treehouse to head over to Sam's place, trying his best to quell the sense of trepidation rising up from his stomach.

It didn't take long for the long blonde haired male to reach the cat shaped house, but he wished he had come sooner when he heard the sounds of breaking glass coming from inside. "P-please kiddo! Calm do-EEK!!" Sam's voice was loud and in obvious distress as the sound of a shattering chair filled the air. "Who the fuck are you?! You fucking bitch! Where are my clothes?!" Ethan was quick to rush through the door only to find the raven females home in shambles with the blue eyed boy at the center and his friend on her knees clutching her broken nose. "E-eef." Her voice was shaken and purple eyes cloud with tears of pain. Through her closed hand thick droplets of crimson blood oozed like a magma river, landing on the black feathers that covered her thighs before rolling off and onto the ground.

When Tommy woke up he was expecting to be back inside the cold dark prison with Dream taunting him once more. What he was not expecting was the feeling of soft wings wrapped around his sore form nor the sound of slow breathing from the figure underneath him. 'It wasn't a dream. Dad actually came and saved me.' A sob of relief tried to tear from his throat as he curled up closer to the figure he thought was his father, but the feeling of the feather covered legs beneath him turned his blood cold. This wasn't his father, he was being held by a stranger. With no thoughts of what would happen he pulled himself from the strangers arms, falling from their lap to the purple carpet covered floor. "W-what? Kid?!" A female voice still groggy from waking up so suddenly called to him in concern.

"Who the fuck are you?! Stay away from me!" Tommy was on his feet and scrambled backwards to put distance between himself and the woman. The moment she got to her feet to try and talk the frantic boy down her potted cornflower whizzed past her head. "Whoa! Hey calm down please!" Another flower pot met the wall to her left making her flinch from the explosion of glass. "P-please kiddo! Calm do-EEK!!"

The small chair Tommy had thrown to try and make her step back hit, just not in the way he intended. It met its mark striking the worried lady in the face causing a sickening crack to come from her nose a wave of hot red blood flowing freely from the wound. She fell to her knees clutching her nose in pain as Tommy screamed at her again, "Who the fuck are you?! You fucking bitch! Where are my clothes?!" He wasn't ready for the door to slam open and a new stranger to enter nor for the lady to whimper out a name. "E-eef." In that moment Tommy felt terrified.
The new stranger, a male, took a moment to take in the scene, forcefully pushed past Tommy and knelt beside the first, winged stranger as she bled on the floor. "Explain yourself," he demanded to Tommy in a cold voice. This demand exasperated Tommy even more.

"S-she's not my father, I don't know either of you, I don't know where I am, I-- why do I have to explain things when I'm the one stuck in someone else's house!?" Tommy exclaimed. "What have you done to me!? What--"
