The h/c girls eyes slowly opened (he/her) eyes to the sound of her good friend Tanjiro Kamados voice. She only saw blurred movements in front of her.
The last thing she remembered was that she was protecting Nezuko, Tanjiros sister who turned into a demon, from being killed. She was knocked out from exhaustion and pain after she was shoved into a tree.
She tried to lift herself up but ropes were tied around. She made a noise while doing so, others then looked at her.
"Oh my, please don't move you have multiple fractures in your leg, and a large cut on your side!" A sweet, but forced, voice implied while a girl with short black and purple hair with a white haori walked over. She bent down and pulled out some water.
"Drink this. It's water with some pain killer, it will help you heal. I already gave some to your friend." She said while helping y/n drink the water.
"Why are you helping her, Shinobu? She protected a demon." Y/n had clear vision now and could see an average height male. She looked around and could see 7 other people there. Tanjiro was also there but in restraints.
"She's very injured and exhausted, Shinazugawa-San! I'd prefer to help her." The Shinobu girl kindly stated.
The man only scoffed. Then the girl noticed he had Nezuko box.
"Nezuko.." The only thing the girl could say.
"Hm? You care for this thing? Hah! Don't make me laugh, weakling!" The man said.
"Please don't do anything rash, Shinazugawa-San." Shinobu calmly stated. Her smile was long gone at this point.
Y/n heard tanjiro speak a few time before blacking out again.

"Y/n-channnn! Wake upppp!" You heard a voice you knew to well exclaim.
"Zenitsu! Y/n is probably exhausted she did most the work on our last mission and she's injured!" Another voice you knew.

Y/n felt her eyes flutter open. She was in a dark room with one window. She sat up and looked around. There were a few other beds and another figure sitting on one bed looking out the window.
"Hello?" The girl stuttered from a dry throat.
The small demon looked and immediately ran over and wrapped her arms around y/ns neck as soon as she heard her voice.
"Nezuko? Where are we?" Y/n asked the demon like she could respond.
The demon just leaned onto the girls shoulder, glad she was done hibernating. The h/c haired girl rubbed the back of the small demons head while she looked around.

"Mmm Mmm!" The demon happily made noises while tugging on Y/n's sleeve.
Y/n was try to stand with Nezuko as her support. She finally pushed herself up and Nezuko held onto her shoulders so she wouldn't fall.
"Thank you" Y/n Thanked.
The small demon only hummed happily and waited for Y/n to move again. Y/n slowly took steps to go outside. It was midnight so Nezuko would be fine.
They eventually made it into the starry night and inched your way to a large tree. You carefully sat down and Nezuko sat on your lap. (You legs are open and she's sitting between them with her back facing you.)
"The stars are beautiful as always." You smiled. You heard an agreeing tone come from the demon.
You looked down at the younger girl and ran your fingers through her hair. She noticed and leaned her head back in relaxation. You continued playing with her hair, putting it in braids, then taking them out just to do it again. She slowly started to lean back onto you, being careful due to your injuries.
Eventually you stopped and put your arms beside you. That's when you noticed, fireflies. They were everywhere. Some flying and making beautiful light, others were hidden in the grass.
You looked around and noticed one hiding in the grass beside you. You quickly picked it up and hid it in your hands. You rested your arms on Nezuko shoulders with your hands still trapping the firefly.
"Look.." Y/n softly spoke as she opened her hands. A small light appeared as she opened her hands. The demon was astonished by the creature and tried to touch it.
She poked it once then stopped because she didn't want to frighten it. It eventually flew away and joined its other buddies.
