Family | Kyojuro Rengoku x Reader

"Y/n!" Rengoku quickly ran over to the girl and spun her around while hugging her tightly. "I'm so glad you could make it!"

Y/n laughed as she slightly ruffled his hair. "Of course I could make it! I would never miss a chance to meet your family!"

Rengoku let the girl down as he held her hand. "The journey is not to far let's go." He smiled as the couple began their journey to the Rengoku estate.

"Big brother! You're back, is this the nice lady you were talking about?" A young boy who looked identical to rengoku came running towards him.

He hugged rengoku as they both laughed.

"Yep! This Y/n L/n. Y/n this is my little brother Senjuro." Rengoku stood up as he ruffled his brothers hair.

"Has father left his room yet?" Rengoku asked Senjuro, his smile quickly faded.

Senjuro slightly shook his head as he twiddled with his thumbs.

Rengoku sighed as he look down a hallway. "Senjuro why don't you go Y/n around? I'll go talk with father." He smiled while walking away.

They both watched as he disappeared around the corner.

"Umm... if you want to I can show you around the garden." Senjuro quietly said.

Y/n smiled as she held her hands behind her back. "That would be lovely if you don't mind!"

Senjuro quickly smiled and showed her the way to the garden. Y/n followed behind him.

"This is the garden! When kyojuro is here, him and I usually eat lunch together." Senjuro was smiling as he sat on a large stone bench, big enough to fit 5 people.

Y/n sat beside him as she smiled at his enthusiasm. He was happy talking about all the great memories he's had with his brother.

"There you two went! Father finally came out of his room." Rengoku went over and sat beside y/n as she smiled.

All three of them got up.

"Are you sure he won't make a scene?" Senjuro whispered beside rengoku. Rengoku sighed as he looked at him.

"I hope not."

"Here, you can sit anywhere you like!" Rengoku said while leading y/n and Senjuro into a room.

Y/n sat down while Rengoku and Senjuro were on either sides of her. Soon Shinjuro, the father, came out.

He looked at all three of them before sitting down.

He sat down as he eyed y/n. "Who's she?" He grumbled while looking at Rengoku.

Rengoku sighed as he said, "She's my girlfriend. I met her while I was injured, she was the one that took care of me."

"You should've been able to take care of yourself instead of pushing your problems onto other people." Shinjuro rolled his eyes as he began eating.

Rengoku stayed quiet, he was respectful.

Y/n looked at the two as she quietly ate.

'Kyojuro told me they fought often, hopefully not like this every time he visits.' Y/n thought as she finished her food.

Y/n got up to clean but was interrupted by kyojuro grabbing the plate.

"Allow me!" He smiled as he and Senjuro left to the kitchen. Y/n slightly giggled as he seemed eager to help her out.

"Your name is Y/n, correct?" Shinjuro asked while looking at her. Y/n quickly straightened her back and looked at the man.

"Yes sir. You were the former flame hashira, am I right?" Y/n asked while smiling.

"I was.." He stared outside as he let out a deep sigh. He stood up and looked at the girl.

"Take care of him for me. Being a demon slayer is dangerous." He mumbled barely loud enough to hear before leaving to his room.

Y/n watched as he left. Soon enough the sound of a door closing could be heard from the hallway.

"I will take good care of him!" Y/n thought as she smiled.
