Y/n felt a cool breeze as she picked up a small basket she had left outside. She smiled warmly as she saw the sun set.
Her boyfriend, Giyuu Tomioka, hated when she was outside at night. He was iffy at sunset but still allowed her to go. He was actually gone at the moment, slaying demons.
She stared off into the sunset thinking about the moment he's come home. She'd cool his favorite dish with his favorite dessert. She would give him all the attention until he left again.
Y/n sighed as she felt the air become colder. It sent shivers down her spine.
She turned around and started to head home until she felt her scarf fly off. She turned away from her village and looked back. The scarf was already in and tree.
Y/n sat the basket on the ground as she walked over to the tree. She took it down from the branch and wrapped it back around her neck.
She smiled as she turned back around and picked up her basket.
She began walking until she heard her name being called.
"Y/n!"
She looked over and saw one of the towns people. He was well known for being crazy and weird. Y/n tried to avoid him as much as she could.
"Ah hello, Zaito-San! How are you today?" Y/n politely asked.
"I'm doing great, but I need to ask you something." He suddenly became serious and had an uneasy expression on his face.
"Yes?"
"Is Tomioka here?" He asked. Y/n stayed silent for a moment before answering.
Suddenly she felt a hand around her wrist. She dropped her basket as she began to be pulled in the opposite direction she wanted to go.
She looked up to see Zaito pulling her towards his house.
"That's great." He said with a psychotic smirk.
Y/n began struggling as tried to pry his hand off of her wrist. His grip became unbearably tight as Y/n winced in pain.
"Please let go of me Zaito-San!" She felt her eyes tear up as he held that smirk on his face.
"If you don't stop struggling I'll give you something to cry about." He laughed as he grabbed her other wrist and pushed her to the ground.
He stood about her and had a foot on her chest. He tightened his grip as she continued to struggle. Tears were spilling from her eyes at this point.
Zaito began to raise his foot. He slammed it back onto her chest as she coughed.
Soon y/n saw something knock him in the side of the head. His grip loosened as he fell to his side.
Y/n crawled back a bit and held her chest where he stomped on it. She wiped her cheek as she coughed a bit.
Y/n stood up and looked around for whoever knocked Zaito out.
Before she knew it, she felt two arms around her waist. She knew exactly who it was once she saw the raven haired ponytail.
"Giyuu?" She questioned as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me foe not being here sooner.." Be slouched down to pick the girl up and held her.
Giyuu began walking back with Y/n in his arms, leaving the man there.
She gently closed the door behind him as he continued walking to the bedroom.
He wrapped his Haori around the girls shoulders before laying her on the bed. He hovered over top of the girl before wrapping his arms around her waist and cuddling into her chest.
Y/n ran her fingers through his hair as she wiped her tear stained cheek.
