Episode 5 —Heart of darkness— {part 2}

After school i finally get home and get to chill. My head was feeling a little dizzy after what happened with Betty, but i think she knows that i am a serpent. Do not care that she knows. What is she going to do? Go all dark Betty on my? That will end great for her. I walk into my house to see my dad putting on his serpent jacket.

"Hey, kid. I was going to go to the wyrm. Want to come?" My father asks. "Ya, sure. Let me grab my jacket and helmet." I say as i run up the stairs to my room. There is a lot of small secret that i have. One of them being that i have a reverse closet. One side has my regular clothing and the other has serpent clothing. No one knew about this, it took a whole year to build and was something that had to be kept a secret from all.

"Ready to go?" I ask my dad as i slip on the biker helmet. "Yep. Are you going to take your own bike?" He asks. "Yep." I call out half way out the door. "Race you there!!" I call out half way down the drive way. "You are so on!!" I hear him call out.

The drive was nice. It felt good to be in my own skin. I felt i powering and that i was strong and could do any and everything. The wind was in my hair. The trees swayed in the wind as i came up to the South-side and North-side boarder. Most people or should i say North-siders would have turned back coming up on the boarder. People were scared of us. We have done bad things yes, but there is a reason and we are painted into this mean and heartless thugs that hate everyone. It is not true, the serpents are like family to me and every one else in the gang feels the same way. 

I hear my fathers bike closing in behind me and then start my bike up again to beat him there. My dad and i have alway been very competitive people. We hated losing, even if it something so simple. 

I pull up to the bar with my dad right on my tail. "I win." I say taking of my helmet. "Ya, what ever kid. Let's go inside. I'm sure your friends have  missed you." He says. "Ya, i will see you later, i might come home a little late." "Okay, be home before 1." "Okay, old man." He laughs as we walk into the bar.

"the queen is back!!" One of the serpents calls out. The crowd fills with cheers. Some after I get trampled with hugs from my friends. "Hey, queenie. Want to go around of pool?" Sweet pea asks. "Sure, pea." "I bet 20 on y/n." Toni says. "Okay, I'm going 20 on sweets." Fangs calls out. "Great now we have an audience." Pea says. "Ya, that's real bad. They are going to have to watch you lose." I say to the boy. "So funny. You are going down, Y/n" "you sure about that. How about we have a bet of our own?" "I'm listening." "Ok, i say $45 i win and you don't call me queenie for a mouth." I say, setting up the game. "Ok, and if i win, you give me money and I can all you queenie all the time and you cant get mad at me." Sweet pea says. "Deal." And we shake on it.

"This just got good" Toni says. "You are going down, T."  Fangs says. "You wish. Y/n/n, you better win. I am not losing 25 dollars to this kid" Toni calls out at me. "Ok, sure." I say. "Let's play, lady's first." Pea says. "Ok, sure." I say stetting up. "What is happing?" Joaquin comes over. "Y/n and pea are playing pool and they have a bet happening." Toni says. "Fun. I'm betting on y/n." Joaquin calls out. "Could you be any louder. I am trying to focus and win." I say
