Today was the day. Betty Copper invited Jughead and I over for breakfast. This was just a recipe for disaster. The main reason that we have to go over to her house is to get intel, we know that Polly was being kept at some crazy place for troubled youth but we didn't know where or what one. Then here is a knock on the door.
"You ready to go?" The beanie headed boy asks. "As ready as i can be." I reply. I was not ready in the slightest. Alice was like a shark she prayed on our fear and knowledge. I being a serpent have tons of knowledge on things that I shouldn't know. Example, I know how my best friend died. I'm still surprised i have not slipped.
"Are you even listening to me?" "Uh. Oh, sorry, what did you say?" I say still lost in thought. "Nothing, so, how do you think this is going to go?" "I have know idea. I think that it is going to go bad and i am going to die." I say. The boy laughs. "You are not going to die. I need my best friend and someone to read over my writing." "Is that all you need me for. Well, now I think i need a new best friend." I say laughing a little. "No, it was a joke." The boy says pulling me into a hug.
After some more walking, and yes we had to walk. Jones made me and i am wearing heals, i surprised i have not broken an ankle. Any way, we have finally arrived at the coopers. Yay *cough* sarcasm *cough*
"Ok, y/n, before we go in i need you to promise me something." The boy says grabbing my hands. "And what is that." I ask quite sceptical. "I need you t promise that you will not be a full on bitch." I laugh a little then look at him in the eye. "Are you serious." I ask the boy as he nods his head. "You know i do not work like that. I do not like Alice. I do not like any of them. Put me and Betty in a room and we are ticking time bomb." "Please, do this one thing... for me." "Uh, fine... but if this goes longer than an hour, we are going to have a problem."
The we walk up to the door. Was it to late to leave and cancel... probably, but... i could just leave say i was sick, then grab pops and go home and watch my marvel movies or my favourite TV series. Then jones rings the door bell. Crap, we i can not leave now, the movies were starting to sound good. After a couple of seconds the door opens. Time to enter the gate way to hell.
We sit there in silence as Alice just stares at us. I swear this girl is like the human form of the devil. It was not as bad as the blossoms dinner or breakfast but it was still bad a slice just sat there staring coffee.
"So, jughead, y/n... i suppose we have you two to thank for Betty's ongoing obsession with this Jason Blossom ghoulishness." Alice says breaking the silence. "Actually, mom, i was the one who asked Jughead and y/n to help me write for the blue and gold." Betty says. The only reason that I did I agree to help them out with the blue and gold so that i could see if the found anything that could lead to me or the serpents being the killer. Also, i just wanted more time to hang out with jughead and it gets me away from home.
"Relax, Betty, i am just trying to make conversation." Alice says with a smug tone. Betty looks at jughead and i and then gives us the signal, this was going to go very good or very bad one of the two and because Betty was a terrible liar. I think it's going to go really bad, Betty can't do anything that regards sneaking or lying or you get it the list goes on. "Sure, i will show you, Jughead." Betty say putting on her fake ass smile on. "No, i will show him... follow me jughead." Alice says putting on a even faker smile on then Betty. Hey at least we know were she gets it from. the two walk out of view and then copper and i get up to start looking around.
We go though her purse and then Betty pulls something out of it. It looked like number or some sort. Addresses. Names. I have no idea. Betty takes a couple photos and then we return it back to were we found it. Let's just hope mama copper does to realize what we have done. Then we return to our seats.
Juggie and I stay there for a couple more minutes and then we leave.
As soon as we are out of the house i let out a sigh. That was way to long in there. What if you spend to much time in there will you become crazy. I think I feel it coming... but I already am crazy, I mean I joined a gang at like 7 or something.
"So was that so bad?" Jug asks asks me. "Yes, i did not get to cuss. I did not kill Alice or some one in that crazy house. I also all most died having to be in the same room as Alice for god knows how long." "It was not that bad" "yes, it was." I say cutting the boy off. We sit there talking for some time until we arrives my house.
"Well, thank you for walking me to my house, Mr. Jones." "No problem, Miss. Queen. I will see you tomorrow. I love you." Jones says walking me to the door. "I love you too." I say kissing his cheek. I swear i saw him blush but that just might have been me, but then i also was blushing i could feel it.
Later that day i when to the white wyrm.
"Hey, bitchs. I'm backkkkk." I call out. Cheers fill the room. Like normal it was quite nice to be back. I played a couple rounds of pool with my friends and then it was darts. I was not the best at darts but i hate losing so i am smart of who i play with.
"Yo, Y/N, want to go a round of darts?!" Joaquin calls out snapping me out of thought. "Ya, sure. Give me a minute." I say finishing my drink and walking over.
I do end up winning the game. The rest of the day was quite boring. Nothing excited happen. It was just me and my TV.
Sorry for not updating School has been trying and i have been stressed I also had i marvel movie marathon And watched endgame and was coping With all that fun stuff I will be writing more soon Have a good summer break
