Chapter 23

"Al, you gotta wake up baby." I hear as someone shakes me.

"Where am I?" I ask as I open my eyes.

I'm blinded by a bright white light, "turn that light off." I groan.

The light switches off and someone takes hold of my hand.

"Alli?" Vic's voice says.

"Hmm?" I answer finally opening my eyes to see he has tears in his.

"Al, do you remember anything within the past few hours?"

I shake my head, "wasn't I asleep?"

"You were for some of it. Baby you went into surgery. The cuts were really badly infected and they almost had to cut your forearms off. Luckily since you have o- blood, also the most rare type of blood, and Austin has it too, he was able to donate and they were able to save your arms." He says giving me a hug.

"Where is Austin now?" I ask.

"He's in the room over, recovering. He had to give a pint of blood." He says slowly.

"I wanna see him." I say tears building up in my eyes.

"You will soon. There are a lot of other people that are waiting to see you. Do you want me to send them in?"

I think about it for a moment "only if after I see them, I get to see Austin."

"Sure. I'll go get them." He says standing up and leaving.

After a few minutes I hear running in the hallway, and Jaime and Alan come bursting in the room.

"ALLI!!!!!!!" They scream at the same time and jump on the bed pulling me into there bodies.

"That was the most emotional roller coaster I've been on since Austin had his surgery!" Alan whines.

"I'm gonna turn the back lounge into a bubble room and I'm gonna lock all of us in it, so we can all be in a bubble room together and no one can ever get hurt because I don't like it when people get hurt." Jaime rambles on.

The rest of Pierce the veil, sleeping with sirens, all time low, of mice and men and some crew members come in after Jaime and Alan.

"Guys get off the bed." Vic says sounding aggravated.

He comes and sits next to me and takes my hand.

I squeeze it comfortingly and he squeezes my hand back with a small smile.

"How do you feel? Do you want anything?" Tony asks worriedly.

I smile at him, "I wanna see Austin."

"I'll be right back." Tino says and walks out.

"Are you sure your okay? Do you want some food? Or ice cream? Or anything?" Mike asks.

I let out a sad laugh, "yeah I'm fine."

The door opens and a dizzy looking Austin comes in with Tino following behind.

"Austin!" I squeal sitting up and opening my arms.

He gives me a hug and asks "how are you feeling?"

"Better now that your here." I smile at him and lean my head on his shoulder.

I move over and pat the spot next to me on the bed for Austin and he sits next to me.

"Why does Austin get to sit on the bed and I don't." Alan whines.

"Cause I like Austin more!"

"MEANY!" Alan yells like a 7 year old.

"Act your age baby." I say running my hand through his ginger hair.

"Imma go get ice cream." He says, "do you want any?" He asks looking at me.

"Sure." I say smiling. "Thank you ginger princess!" I say as he walks out.

"Guys can you all leave for a second except Austin?" I say looking around.

"Sure. Let's go guys." Vic says kissing my hand and walking out with everyone following.

"What's wrong baby girl?" He asks pulling me to his side.

"I have 2 things. The first on is why'd you do it? Donate the blood?"

"Do you honestly think that I would keep blood that isn't needed to you so you can keep your forearms which are needed? I would do it for anyone." He says kissing my head.

"Thank you." I say snuggling into his chest.

"Of course doll. Now what was the other thing you needed?"

"Caleb came and in here, before when Vic wasn't here yet and I had just got out of surgery."
