One-hundred Sleepless Nights (Vic Fuentes is my dad)

chapter 1

I was with my mom this morning when she stopped breathing. I didnt know what to do and I still dont know what to do. A lady came and told me I had 2 options; call Vic, or be put into foster care.

I decided I was gonna call Vic.

They are finding his phone number right now.

I'm terrified, sad excited and nervous all at once.

The lady I talked to earlier came out and said "I talked to Mr. Fuentes. He is going to be here as soon as he can."

With that she turned around and left me sitting in the lobby of a police station.

^^^Vic's P.O.V^^^

I was on the tour bus sleeping as Warped Tour was travelling to Texas.

I heard my phone start ringing and roll over to pick it up.

"Hello?" I said in a sleepy voice.

"Hi, is this Victor Fuentes?" I heard a lady say into the phone.

I responded "Yes, who is this?"

"I'm Amanda Gatz, I'm calling because this morning a women named Sarah Hartmand died of stage four cancer."

Thoughts of my high school girlfriend that broke up with me unexpectently a little while after our first time came running into my head.

"I'm sorry to hear that but again, why are you calling me?"

"She has a daughter who is believed to be yours."

I didn't respond, I didnt know how. me...? I can't have a daughter... if she's mine why didn't Sarah tell me..? so many questions flooded my brain.

"Hello? Mr.Fuentes are you still there?"

"Yes, Sorry. Where is the daughter?"

"She is at the Cleveland, Ohio Police Station."

"I'll be there as soon as I can."

With that I hung up and slid out of my bunk, walking to the front lounge where I could hear the guys talking.

I heard Tony mention something about Star Wars as I walked in.

He stopped mid sentence and turned to me when he noticed I entered the room.

Mike asks, "Who were you talking to, bro?"

I glance at Mike then down to the ground.

Mike notices and says "Dude, whats wrong?" as he sits up.

I don't respond at first but after a few seconds I say "I have a daughter."

Tony starts caughing up the water he was drinking and all of them stare at me.

Mike is the first to speak "What!? Since when!? Why didnt you ever tell me!? I'm your fucking brother Vic!"

Him getting angry only made me angry too and I said "Shut up dick head, I didn't know until this morning."

Mike shut up and Tony started "Ok, start from the begining. What happened?"

once I had told them about what the lady on the phone said, I said "I'm going to Ohio to see her."

Mike says "I'm going with you." and Tony and Jaime say they are too.

I say "okay, then lets tell the bus driver to turn around and go to Ohio."

With that Mike goes and tells Frank to go to Ohio and the rest of us watch the ending of Star Wars that Tony had playing.
