UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Chapter 12

"We found him in an underground parking lot which was closed for past two years due to some issues regarding the legal matter. It took us half a day to find him there only to see him completely covered in blood" Anu felt like she had stopped breathing at that moment and her heart was pounding like it has run a marathon, she held the hand of Kunal tightly in the fear of falling then and there.

"Where is Riya?" Anu finally questioned making her somewhat calm in Kunal's embrace who was rubbing his palm on her arms.

"We don't know, I have been searching for her from the moment we have found Aarav alone in the parking lot" Kunal frowned hearing it, and then looked towards Abhay to which Abhay just nodded his head and went few steps away to make a call.

"You are tailing her?" Anu questioned seeing the exchange between Abhay and Kunal to which Kunal nodded his head in agreement, Kunal had doubts regarding Riya from the start so he never loosed his focus from her but for the past one week he didn't get information from his regular informer which left him confused and he arranged another secret informer.

After talking with the informer Abhay came and whispered something in the ears of Kunal to which Kunal became icy cold, the fire in his eyes can burn anyone in the given situation, Anu started to rub the arms his to which he looked towards her and hugged her at last.

"Ask him to stay put and out of sight" Kunal ordered Abhay to which he nodded his head "Let's go to the hospital" The manager looked towards his boss and nodded his head then they left from there with millions of thoughts running across their head.

After half an Hour they have reached St Thomas hospital which was one of the reputed hospitals over there and rushed towards the ICU where they have found Aarav lying on the bed with so many attached wires, tears started to fall from Anu's eyes seeing her friend in this situation, Kunal somehow controlled himself so that he can be strong in front of Anu.

Kunal clenched his fist tight and closed his eyes to control his emotions when he felt a hand landing on his clenched fist and looked down only to see Anu was holding his hand tightly and looking ahead giving him the much-needed strength at this moment.

The manager has gone to call the Doctor who was in charge of Aarav's case "Make sure that they will pay for what they have done" Kunal said to Abhay to which he nodded his head and made an exit to complete his work which was assigned by his boss. After few minutes the manager came there with the doctor who has treated Aarav.

"Doctor, how is my brother?" Kunal immediately asked the question which was bothering him so much.

"Honestly we are still not sure about how he survived over there and stayed alive, his willpower was strong enough that it stopped him from dying." Anu gulped hard hearing what the doctor has said and then looked towards Kunal, she has millions of questions running through her head which was clearly making her restless and the answers to those questions is in with Kunal right now and she knows very well that he will say to her if it was the right time.

"We will talk later" Anu heard Kunal's voice which brought her back out of her stupor and then looked towards the man in question, amidst everything a small smile graced her face seeing the understanding level between them, Anu nodded her head agreeing to what Kunal said and then looked inside the room again.

Anu knew and prayed that what she was thinking right now should be all her imagination, after all, if what she thought was true then the damage that happened to Aarav's heart was hard to heal, she prayed in hope that it has nothing to do with Riya.

It's been hours they were sitting outside the private room where Aarav has been shifted for security reasons, they were waiting for him to regain his consciousness even though the doctor has said that it will take hours considering the fact they have given a higher dose in anesthesia. In all the London branch manager was looking towards Anu regularly.
